The food here wasn't disappointing. The steak was a little chewy, I'm guessing it was frozen at some point. The chips aren't anything to rave about but overall I enjoyed the meal. This dish was £13.99
Nice little pub. Separate bar area to food/family area. Toilets upstairs which is unusual but works well. Car park is a little on the small side and tight! Food is good quality and priced reasonably well same as drinks. Nice place to go

The toilets are up some steep stairs but then I was told that there is a disabled toilet on the ground floor.
Visited on mothers day did not book but was able to get a table in the bar area for 2 the staff were pleasant and advised us that there may be delays with food. Food was lovely although the hunters chicken was a little overcooked. Great value for money. Service was a little slow considering there was only a few people in the pub but we didn't mind too much. The Banoffi cheesecake was lovely also.
Very friendly pub both staff and customers which was nice as I'm not local it was nice to feel instantly welcome by all. Customer service was excellent on this occasion I didn't have a meal but previously have had lunch here and it was lovely.

We go regularly to The Chestnut Tree at Finchfield, Wolverhampton but because there was 9 of us it was fully booked, so this was the first time we had visited the Rose and Crown. The food was good as was the service considering it was a large party and we would certainly go again.

Booked for a Birthday party. Great food and service. A staff member brought out the cake and sang happy birthday with us. We had kids and there was mess and the staff were great. The food was reasonably priced and there was a great selection of dishes and was I was impressed with the food. Spot on.
I must say this is one of our favourite restaurants in Wolverhampton, its a sizzling chain so you know its very reasonable food however in my opinion it is much better than local sizzling pubs such as the pilot or Elizabeth Arms, the staff are always incredibly friendly and the food is always of goo
Great service and atmosphere to catch up with friends and family in a friendly relaxed pub with good selection of beer on tap and a decent Guiness. I haven't tried the food but have heard it's good.
