Quirky friendly reasonably priced. Great to avoid the chain coffee shops. Has a change table in the loo.

The food was really lovely ordered jacket potato with prawns in a Marie rose sauce. The salad was fresh and very colourful. The restaurant has changed hands not the same friendly warm service but the food was amazing. The young lad was lovely

Had breakfast, everything fresh and tasty, eggs were poached to perfection (very rare to find a place that can poach an egg properly), staff were welcoming and friendly and considering the place was busy, I wasn't really waiting for anything. However the best thing for me was the giant slice of cake, very generous portion and tasty.

Came across Madame Clarke's by chance and the four of us enjoyed a warm welcome, excellent service and delicious food. One of us required it to be gluten free and had a wide choice including biscuits with his tea which he'd never been offered before! Can't recommend it highly enough as it is also great value for money. Thank you.

Whether you are after a slice of cake and a hot drink, a light bite such as a hot sandwich or a jacket potato or a hearty bowl of home made stew this is the place to be. Madame Clarke's is ideally located in the centre of Wolverhampton close to Queen Square and the bus station. The tearoom is nicely decorated throughout and has the option of sitting inside or outside. Staff are friendly and helpful. I was spoilt for choice with the menu, I decided to have the traditional English breakfast and I was not disappointed it was very tasty. It included a free range fried egg, granary bloomer bread and Shropshire pork sausages. I am looking forward to my next visit. Tip: try a slice of the homemade cakes

My friend and me were looking for somewhere to have breakfast and i just happend to look up a side street and saw a sandwich board it said tea room. So we went in .We had a lovely full English breakfast it was hot when it came sometimes food can be stone cold in many places this wasn't. We like to support local businesses and this tea shop is worth a visit look at the board outside to tell you about the history of this tea shop.

Warm welcome guaranteed here. I think the new owners are really coming into their stride. Lovely food, cooked fresh and served quickly. A lovely range of homemade cakes too. The 'Chocolate and Toasted Marshmallow Cake' was a creation worthy of Willy Wonker himself and, my friends vanilla cheesecake, whilst simpler, was just as tasty. If you are in Wolverhampton and want a bite to eat do give this Mother and Daughter team's business your support. With so many chains selling the same old same old, give small and unique a try!

I mentioned whilst I was in here that it is my son's 4th Birthday tomorrow so they put a candle in his cake and sang happy birthday to him. I thought this was a lovely touch. I will be visiting again in the near future.

Madame Clarkes- is located in King Street, Wolverhampton City Centre. It's a nice little restaurant/cafe, the food is plain and simple but delicious and drinks are tea, coffee, water etc. There is seating downstairs and upstairs. It is cosy and friendly place. Toilets are available on the first floor. Staff are pleasant, hardworking, helpful as well as cheerful. The building itself is steeped in history being used as a place for ladies for gentlemen very many years ago, (being Polite) the history of Madame Clarkes is written and placed on the Wall. This is of interest I am sure for those who have interest of history. Madame Clarkes is not far from the bus station or tram there are car parks available around the City Centre . Why not try Madame Clarkes when next in the City Centre and try their menu. Happy New Year.

A taste of Wolverhampton before they demolished our old buildings. Well worth s visit for a nice cuppa and something to eat. Dates back to mid 18th century.
