A friendly and welcoming little cafe in an old restored 1920s station building. Sit outside on the station platform terrace in the summer or inside by the fire in the cosy waiting room in the winter. Simple menu but very well executed and offering excellent value. Coffee is very good too. There is a lovely walk along the old railway line through the Smestow nature reserve to be enjoyed before or after. Ample parking.

Lovely little dog friendly cafe that serves cakes, sandwiches and hot drinks. Handy to use when walking along the Smestow Valley railway walk. Standard coffee shop prices on drinks. Toilet and benches also available to customers, with car park situated to the rear.

What a lovely place. The chap that served me and waited for me was so friendly and attentive too. I asked for our bacon to be crispy and it was. It isn't rocket science making a good bacon and egg butty and a cup of tea, but its incredible how often places make them badly. Also tried the homemade brownies and tiffin... Wow! So good! All in all its a lovely place, and beautifully relaxing spot to have a bite and a cuppa. If I had one gripe, it's that the tea was in a takeaway cup rather than a nice cup or a big mug. But I understand, people might nick them.

Very nice location for a rest and cuppa. I had a very nice bacon sandwich and coffee. As you sip your tea you can imagine the trains pulling up

Friendly, clean, comfy, accommodating. Lovely place to call in during our walk on Sunday morning. Good selection of drinks - including children's drinks. Selection of cakes looked yummy, but we didn't try them as it was too near to lunch! We sat inside but there were ample tables outside too. Most enjoyable!

I can not believe this little gem has been on my doorstep for so long and I didn't know. Went today for the first time today and I was blown away by how picturesque this little cafe is. Not only was the decor warm, inviting and just beautiful, but they were playing what sounded like 30s/40s music which really set the atmosphere of this characteristic little place. It was like a time capsule, and looking out onto the nature trail was just the icing on the cake. The cakes looked stunning and the food all smelt divine. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Prices were reasonable too! I could've sat on the outside terrace for hours and hours in peaceful bliss. It was raining but well sheltered. Can not wait to visit again!
