This place is bigger than it seams, when you walk in you literally see ice cream, 🍨 the ice cream is fake but genuinely looks real, they have a cracking cavery, with lots of choice, on this occasion I decided to try the Louisiana chicken bap. I did have an ice cream it was tasty but I could have the flavor I wanted as they didn't have it. Great food and good service here, the staff (from what I noticed) are very friendly with the children and very accommodating.

Brilliant! Mixed grill was cooked to an exceptional standard. Always a wait to get a carvery BUT it is definitely worth the wait, just for there Yorkie puds alone and even there chocolate eclair... It's Huge!. Good quality food cooked right. Staff are a credit. Very attentive, tend to your needs. High customer service level. We love going here. Reasonable prices for food and drink, family friendly atmosphere, nice and quiet. Dogs allowed. Beer garden is great out the back and the family area is spot on for the kids. Love it here

Finished early from work so came and had our lunch. As expected for Wednesday lunch time, was very quiet which is what we like. Staff were so friendly on first coming in, both had a carvery and was so fresh, meat melted In your mouth, lovely meal. Couldn't fault staff at all, including the chef serving the carvery meats. Didn't have room for pudding but ended up coming back for takeaway cake for the office tomorrow. From a home Baker who bakes for others, i know a good cake, the marz attack is absolutely to die for! Will be popping in for our bake off fix! 100% improvement on all aspects since previous visits!

Great carvery, very fresh, meat was tender today. The cake is always a winner. Tracey checked our food back, cleaned up our table and even stayed for a nice little chat whilst she was working; pleasant experience.

Visited this pub for the first time today. Very impressed, couldn't fault it in any way ! Lovely carvery, nice atmosphere, busy, but didn't feel uncomfortable and very small queue for the carvery. Staff were all lovely, clean toilets and lots of outside space for a drink after dinner. The carrot cake was amazing, portions were definitely enough for two....probably three to share ! Also plenty of parking spaces in the car park. Definitely recommend it !

Had a very pleasant breakfast, food was lovely and the staff (Chelle and Mandy) were very professional and friendly. Food was fresh and hot, but most importantly affordable. Would come again and recommend to anyone.

Came here with my kids as was passing through the area and had such a pleasant surprise carvery was all fresh and hot and really enjoyed it, perfect with kids as there’s plenty to keep them occupied inside and outside there’s space to run around or eat & drink outside which is lovely when it’s sunny, staff were all lovely and very accommodating, very family friendly and clean and tidy, our new favourite place for a family dinner also great that there’s a whole other menu if you didn’t fancy a carvery and lots of dessert options xxx

The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and always happy to help. I remember coming here when I was younger and it was always packed but today it was relatively empty which is a bit of a shame as it's such a nice place.

Had a tasty carvery here with friends. Really big place but might be best to book if you are coming on a sunday like we did. The carvery gets quite busy and there was a long ish queue so I would say don’t expect to receive your food really soon and be happy to queue for 10-20 minutes if you come on a sunday lunch. I ordered the vegetable pie and really enjoyed it, there were plenty of veggie options along with the typical meats. The rest of the menu other than the carvery is also really extensive. The carvery cost £10.99 for a standard size which I thought that for a sunday was really reasonable! The yorkshire pudding you get is quite small which didn’t bother me but if you like big ones you might want to get more. The staff were really friendly and helpful but there were some rude customers complaining which decreased the atmosphere and irritated me. The only negative I would have for this place is the drinks, I think that upwards of £3 for a pint of coke/pepsi is a bit overpriced. I would also say be wary that they won’t necessarily have all of the advertised ice creams that they display in stock at all times, but they do have a wide range of flavours! Overall really recommend for a tasty and well priced carvery!
