Hidden Gems! How close have I been over the years and never know it was here. Stunning location. A tradition public house with a light and airy feel. Bustling but not too busy when I went in (Thursday evening). The real ales were perfect and served with a smile.

Was the first one in after opening time, a warm welcome followed by a superb Bathams Bitter. Had a wander around the pub, I was in here just after first COVID lockdown. The place then had a steady influx of patrons. After perusing the menu which is reasonably priced, I had the faggots, chips and Beans. I can thoroughly recommend it. Washed down by another pint of Bathams. I will be back soon.

Was recommended the Great Western on Twitter so had a short walk around from where the boat was moored and wasn't disappointed, in fact the opposite - what a welcoming pub it is ! Loads of choice on tap and very reasonably priced too. I'll be calling in again ! The railway memorabilia on show and the decor was first rate too.

Brilliant Western style bar! One if my favourites in Wolverhampton! It used to be a train station and contains old train station pictures and pieces of the old train track! They have an amazing black country menu and do amazing cobs and crisps! Very welcoming! We shall return!

An absolutely cracking pub with an excellent selection of real ale at very reasonable prices. It’s where the old lower platforms of the station would have been in days gone by and is, therefore, railway themed. We didn’t try the food but if it’s anything like the beer it will be tasty and good value. Very friendly pub. Highly recommended

Brilliant pub with loads of ales on other side of Wolverhampton Station to the city centre.

One of my favourite pubs, under the high level station, a short walk via the cobbles, this place is full of character, and stuffed full of railway artifacts. Numerous ales served, together with hot rolls. The real fires will keep you cosy during the short days of winter.

This friendly pub is 5 minutes away from Wolverhampton Station. The beers are from Black Country breweries & are excellent. The pictures on the walls give an insight towards local industry & the railway. Plenty of seating available.

Best pub in Wolverhampton by far. Might be my favourite pub ever. The service is fantastic, the punters are friendly, the pints are delicious, food is good, the atmosphere is very chill and they have board games to play. I can't recommend this place enough Dan Sarah and Ann-Marie are brilliant especially

Very cool pub, lots of memorabilia and train related items around the bar and other areas. Serves a good pint and was comfortably busy on a Saturday afternoon. Decent value bar snacks including cobs etc. Will definitely visit again!
