Great place, fantastic food great friendly service.
When in the area i go here. its a must
This is by far the best Indian restaurant I have experienced as it has absolutely everything...ambience, character, excellent service and most importantly the food is outstanding...been coming here for the past 15 years or so and it never fails to impress...such a wonderful place...we especially love the lamb madras and special naan.
Have only recently discovered this place but it definitely my new take away. Lovely food all freshly cooked and the staff are lovely.
Nice to eat in too, lovely little place
Birthday meal spent there last night and the food as always was amazing. Nice relaxed atmosphere, helpful staff and not overpriced. Would definitely recommend
Just had a lovely evening for Danielle's birthday meal it was honestly the best Indian meal I have ever eaten and great value for money thank you The king repose see you again very soon
If you want some of the finest Bangladeshi food in the region then you have to try the Kings... fantastic flavour and customisable to your pallet, fresh and full of flavour along with good service.
Had a fantastic meal there. Would highly recommend it.The staff are incredible. I'm not used to Indian cuisine, normally just have a Korma to play safe, but Misbah came out and asked me what sort of flavours and food I liked, He then created a dish to suit my taste. Cant wait to experience your food again. xxx
Pay for the best and you will get it.
Just ignore the range rover driving golphers bragging in the background.
The service / food is excellent. And the staff are fun, polite and great.
Had a gorgeous meal here over the weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Cooked to perfection and I can't fault the staff. Will definitely being going back x
The best Indian food I have had beautiful premises and very friendly staff will definitely go there again
The food here is unbelievable - Chef Misbah discussed likes and dislikes of flavours for 20 minutes or so with us and came up with perfect dishes - I now consider myself a regular - Well done to the team there. Very helpful, polite and good conversation. You really need to try this place you won't be disappointed.
We ate here last night and i can honestly say the best food that i have ever tasted and cooked to perfection.
Great food! Great staff! Fab prices.
Food was delish my partner got the special and I got the passanda, we both got the special naans and they were delish. If you like naans with cheese and meat in this one is for you. So stuffed it felt like a pizza!
Generous portions but it was all elegantly presented.
We stopped here on a whim but we’re glad we did. I would defo recommend a visit. The building is very cute as well and the interior is fun and cosy. They do have stairs to the main area so keep that in mind for any accessibility and you will have to drive to get there as it’s just off the Stafford road. However this would be walkable from the golf course.
I butchered the pronunciation of the food but the staff were very helpful and kind about it. They also let us take the food we didn’t finish home which was great.
Very much recommend.
WORLD CLASS… This is just the best restaurant ever! The food is absolutely amazing, we have been eating here for over 22 years, the quality of the food is world class, once you eat here no other restaurant compares. It’s a romantic listed barn where King Charles once hid, the chief is unbelievable, Monsur the owner and his team care so much about your experience, it’s just brilliant. Thank you again for tonight’s food.
Amazing food, the service was something else. I went to order the usual chicken tikka masala I have everywhere else. The man asked me three questions about my tastes and ordered something to suit my tastes. Needless to say the food was beautiful! Certainly will be visiting again soon. Definitely worth a visit!
Food is amazing best king prawns ever

Have not visited for a while. 7 years to be exact. Wish I had not waited so long. Had a chicken and potato Bengali special. AMAZING. Took my daughter who is a very fussy eater and they fell over themselves to cater for her. Lovely place, lovely sraff and freshly cooked amazing food. Wont wait as long again 5 star.
Everything is excellent about the place but if you expected a normal indian you can go for a quick curry after acfew drinks then this not the place everything cooked fresh and different things on menu you wouldnt normally get
Still i recommend anybody to try you'll definitely go back
Reliably the best Indian restaurant around. Wonderful service and excellent food every time, I cannot recommend it enough.
Went out for my birthday meal with the family. I had been once or twice before many years ago. The service was prompt and the food was excellent. Would heartily recommend
Been going to this place for years it’s the best food is out of this world and staff are so nice and friendly
So... King's Coronation bank holiday Monday and what a find.
If it's good enough for Charles II, hiding out from Cromwell's round-heads, then it's good enough for me.
To be honest, they wouldn't have had, have half the problems if they sat down and had a curry with each other, served with an ice cold Cobra and a hot curry.
Can't fault it and worth the drive out.
Go on, come see where Charles II has made a dash out to Liverpool.
Don't know if he had a takeout.
If you don't know what to have, ask Misbah, he has a skill of knowing just what you want.
Garlic chilli chicken with 2 chappattis and mushroom rice.
Absolutely bostin'
Lovely food, great service. Definitely worth a visit or 2
We went for a meal about 10yrs ago so decided to take the inlaws out for a meal for their Pearl anniversary and I must say, it didn't disappoint. Will defo be going again.
Staff are extremely friendly, service is excellent and the food is amazing. Never a disappoint
Food was excellent as service was but because it was busy we had to vacate our table in less than 2 hour's plus the staff was hanging around waiting to take plates and then told us to go downstairs to pay so they could set the table again.
Very unusual and amazing setting for an Indian restaurant, which certainly sets it apart from the usual tackiness and cheap decor. Service is very personal - sit you down to read menu and take a drink order (yes, they are licensed, with a vast variety to chose from), then order food before being taken to your table. And staff are attentive throughout without being overly intrusive. All this matters not if the food is not of an equally high standard... and thankfully it is. Very fresh tasting with the sauces having a delicious authentic consistency, 😀 not like the baby food you get all too often at some places!!! Easily one of the best Indian's for miles around when all things considered. Thoroughly recommend.
