This is the second time we have eaten at The Hungry Bistro the food is fantastic, great staff & well priced.
Great food and hospitality.
One of the true gems in Wolverhampton.
Walked into the hungry bistro on the off chance as we were just passing. it was the weekend of the rod Stewart concert at molineux so the town was fairly pact. I don't normally give five stars for review but this was well worth it. Staff were super helpful and extremely polite, the menu looked fairly basic at first glance, (it was the lunch time menu) but the food was absolutely gorgeous. I had the chicken burger and my wife had a chicken and bacon salad. The food was fresh and it tasted really nice. When the staff came round and said 'how was your meal?' they actually sounded sincere and were interested to know if we were actually enjoying it as opposed to just coming over and asking for the sake of it. Little things like thatlet you know that the people that work there have confidence in their product. So what we spent in there it was superb value for money so we made sure we left a good tip. Keep doing what you doing and I hope you continue to do well. A well-deserved 5-star.
We had the chicken burger and the fishfinger sandwich which were cooked to perfection. The chocolate brownie for dessert was sublime and the service, as it always has been, was very friendly and prompt. I would recommend this unique eatery to anyone, and it is clear that they have thought carefully about their menu and drink choices to offer a varied menu for all. Will definitely be back!
Love love love my visits to one of my favourite places and by far the best place to eat freshly cooked tasty restaurant quality meals without the price tag. Always receive a warm friendly welcome and good service . Food is always hot and always tasty , great portion sizes , great for vegetarians :-) like myself and warm cosy tables to dine in on. Coffee is always a delight and the desserts that are homemade are just simply divine . The soup also is delicious. I’m always happy contented and well looked after . Thank you
Food is perfect, staff are friendly and easy enough to access and get a table! We've been once before and we will be going again! As it's right opposite the Grand, it's great to go for a bite to eat before the theatre!
Loved this place when it was the Hungry Bistro and was so happy it managed to reopen after lockdown #1. The decor may have changed but not the incredible food or service. Always cooked to order and unbelievably tasty. The WAP which is something I wouldn't normally go for was one of the best things I've eaten in a long time and even better than any beef burger, although my partner would disagree as that's what he had and said it was amazing. The cheesecake was to die for so light and creamy. Hoping they will do take away during this next lockdown but either way look forward to going back as soon as they reopen.
I love this place. We go there a lot. Staff are extremely friendly yet professional. Food can take longer to arrive than in other establishments but it is freshly cooked to order and always delicious.
Just got back from the re-opening of ‘Bistro 81’ formerly The Hungry Bistro and the place looks amazing!!
I had the Patè for starter, Pork belly for main and the Honeycomb cheesecake for pudding! Everything was perfect! Including the service and now they have Rekorderlig on tap which is a bonus, unfortunately I couldn’t leave my food alone long enough for a photo’s 😂😍.
Such a lovely atmosphere and still is the best eatery in Wolverhampton by far!
Thank you for a lovely night and great service guys so happy to see you back better than ever!
Absolutely lovely wee place. I came here in between train connections because it's so close to the station. The people were lovely and my hot chocolate was Excellent. Fantastic ambiance and a really great place to watch star trek in the middle of a very long train journey.
