Very nice traditional pub with a cool modern twist in the centre of Wokingham with plenty of parking nearby. We visited for Sunday lunch whilst passing through the area and whilst we had to wait an hour for our food, the array of craft beers (including an impressive selection non-alcoholic options) kept us content. We had the vegan Sunday lunch and it was outstanding. It is probably one of the best we have had!
Special mention to Finn and Haz for their attentive service - would definitely visit again if I'm in the area!
Excellent choice for Fathers Day meal. Staff were attentive and friendly. Even though it was busy they still found time to regularly check in with us. Roasts were good and a decent size- recommend the pigs in blankets side. Would definitely go back for Sunday lunch.
Not been here before , so I thought I'd try lunch. Place was not too busy and had a lovely meal and a couple of beers. I'll be back. Food was good value and tasty. Beers well kept and fresh.
The Lord Raglan in Wokingham is a decent pub. Walk in off the road and you have a small cosy pub. Good fun bar staff. Go leafy for fireplace and leather armchairs. Go right for a high table. Go through to the back and - it’s quite big out there and serving food. Cool pub. Recommended.
Possibly the best ribeye steak i have had especially for the price of thursday steak night.
Very busy so best to book, but we managed to squeeze in while i was working on business trip.
Also, chicken wings are a good portion and tasty.
I've been here a few times with hubby so decided to celebrate my 40th here with friends. It was a group of 12 girls so I wanted somewhere with a good selection to please everyone. (I I particularly love the meat platter!!). The service was fantastic, staff were super organised - knew who's meal was who's from the pre order, no one went without drinks they were very attentive, sung happy birthday when my cake came they were fantastic and everyone said so (my friends are from out of the area). I'll definitely keep going back time and time again lunch, dinner or drinks. The atmosphere was great, we sat in the garden I loved it... usually I sit inside but this was the perfect setting and atmosphere - thank you lord raglan for making our evening very enjoyable and providing great service and food!!
Excellent service from the Waiting staff. Four Sunday Roasts - two vegetarian, two meat. Both meats (lamb & beef) a bit tough. Veggie roasts OK - lots of nice side veg. Good cask beer.
Amazing service and food on a busy Saturday evening with three kids and a grandma grumpy after driving from Newcastle. We’d been warned there would be a 45 min wait for food as there was an event, but the servers and kitchen got the kids food quickly (and our drinks, first round on the house!) and then brought the kids sweets! The food was absolutely worth the wait; the fried chicken burger was top notch. But the reason we will be back is the divine service! Thank you!
@thelordraglan wow how good was that BBQ platter. Ribs cooked to perfection and the brisket just full of flavor. The dirty fries is must try if you visit.

Well for my first visit in years we decided on eating and going for the steak night they had. Definitely worth it. The food was amazing and from start to finish the girls working tonight were fantastic and we had such lovely service.
The only let down was the brownie pudding which wasn't the best, But edible. but everything else was just spot on!

Probably the best selection of beers in Wokingham, definitely the best and friendliest staff, and amazing kitchen staff, the food is superb.
Had Sunday roast for the first time the other day, not many places you can get a roast dinner at 5.30pm on a Sunday afternoon, and it was fantastic.
What more can I say.

Staff were also super helpful and nice despite being busy, food was a good, selection of various options, loaded fries were fab but I must say the chilli corn was a bit dissapointing,literally corn with chilli's cut into a bowl but hey overall good pub and would go again
Friendly staff and a well cooked Sunday lunch. Main room looks nice with modern glass conservatory. Will return. Wide selection of craft beers. Part of a small chain of pubs.
Really enjoyed the food. Burger was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Really good sized portions. Only criticism was the kids fish and chips. Fish was a bit tasteless and watery.

Absolutely excellent for food and service, - we're really impressed!
From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. Good practices were in place for social distancing purposes. We were asked to sanitise hands upon entry then led to our table.
We ordered food and drinks on the app and it all came within 5 minutes, which we were really impressed with. Hot and fresh. We both ordered the beef brisket which was incredibe and flakey and melt in the mouth! The brocoli side was cooked perfectly and tasted great too. I wasn't sure the dressing with the salad went with the brisket but as a whole dish it really was excellent.
Great selection of drinks too, good they had Big Drop low alcohol beers, which are a great substitute for the designated drivers. My husband is an avid craft beer drinker and he said it tasted like the real thing.
Onto the desserts and we shared the mouthwatering Oreo doughnuts and the not as impressive brownies. I think the chocolate sauce (artificial tasting) and ice cream (don't know for certain but might have been vegan - tasted of coconut) let them down, on their own they are nicer. We were both chocolate tasters so we generally are obsessed with chocolate and picky so don't let it put you off. They are still really nice!
Our server was Harriett and she was excellent. Very friendly and chatty and checked in on us.
The atmosphere was great too, a nice buzz without feeling too crowded and tables well apart from each other.
Overall can't fault the service and food and we'll definitely be back!
