Never fails to deliver on food or service , has always been a lunchtime favourite of ours we have tried every dish from the tapas menu and loved them all , the calamari, garlic prawns and pork skewers are our faves. Great for a light bite or a group of friends to share the paella which we also loved . Added bonus to our visit yesterday was to sit in the sun in the courtyard garden .Thoroughly recommend a visit .
Our favourite place to eat in Wokingham....the new Sanpa location is perfect & has a real Spanish vibe. We're always greeted by extremely friendly staff, the food is delicious & the service is excellent....we can't recommend this place enough so you have to get down there and try it out for yourselves.
I love this place. The food is always so good, the staff are the best, can't fault it really. You really must try the calamari, it's delish. You so have to try it.🍽😁😄
I’ve never given a restaurant 5 stars but this place deserves it.
Brilliant service, limited but well executioned menu....worth every penny.
A lovely little tapas restaurant. Food was served quickly and whilst still hot. They also do a very authentic tasting sangria which was enjoyed by both of us. There were also a few dishes that were gluten-free , so that was good for me. The atmosphere within the restaurant was relaxed, although the music may not be to everyone's taste. My only observation was that the staff were more interested in chatting to each other rather than checking if customers needed more drinks.
Probably my favourite place to eat in Wokingham. Emilio and Kelly are both very welcoming and the whole place is quite charming during the winter months.
They make the best fajitas I ever had, excellent padron peppers and many other tapas. Always good wines too.
Sanpa always delivers and if you love authentic Spanish food then this is the place.
My wife and I often book a table when we can and the food has always been excellent, staff are friendly and the owner Emilio ensures your always well looked after.
It was my wife’s birthday on Saturday and pre booked for a table of 17, service was brilliant and food was delicious, again thank you Emilio see you all very soon.
Great authentic Paella. Everything was delicious. The chorizo cooked in cider and honey is amazing!! This place is becoming a firm favourite in Wokingham.
Highly recommended!!
Loved the whole calamari tapas, delicious and garlicky! The salmon main was perfectly cooked. Will definitely go back.
Friendly staff, great service and really nice selection of tapas. Really enjoyed our meal here and will certainly be back. Not many Spanish restaurants in the local area with this level of authenticity so give this a try!!
Nice family ran authentic Spanish restaurant with friendly staff. The food was tasty and very presentable. The pardon peppers tapas arrived promptly, whilst the seafood paella took circa 15-20 mins as expected.
Tip: is to park at the Denmark Street car park which is opposite and near by.
Good food and nice staff, one of the best tapas in the local area ,good portions and fairly priced, I would just say sometimes depending on where seated you can feel a bit ontop of another table. Staff were helpful and friendly and there loads of tasty food options,I recommend the padron peppers, the paella 🥘 and I enjoyed the croquettes.
Lovely Spanish meal in a local family owned restaurant. Food was tasty and service was good.
Yummy Food
Good Service
Very nice chef and staff
Delicious food, friendly, inclusive.
The red meats (pork ribs, lamb shanks, cubed beef) are rich and unctuous. Patatas Bravas hot and fresh. The chorizo in cider, tender and juicy. Love it.
Had a fab time! Beautiful old building, charming old furniture, friendly staff, prompt service, and excellent authentic tapas. Best sangria I’ve had outside of Spain. Reasonable pricing for what you get, especially the seafood. We will be back!
Food and service were both 5-star worthy. Had the seafood paella, and it didn't disappoint. I would give the atmosphere 4 stars purely because the interior felt a bit bare. But other than that, would definitely go back!
True ingredients and flavours from Spain. The paella is a bit bland, but the sharing plates are worth it.
I arrived here on saturday afternoon. It wasn't busy and we were seated promptly. The servers were friendly and attentive.
The food choice for tapas was OK, not a huge amount.
The food was well cooked but wasn't outstanding. The squid was a little fishy indicating it wasn't that fresh, everything else was satisfactory.
Lovely intimate restaurant with the best tapas I've have in the UK! The staff are friendly, welcoming and are quick to serve even on busy nights. Would recommend for both fish and meat lovers.
