This is an amazing farm cafe located in Horsell common, with plenty of outdoor seating and green spaces. I had one of the best breakfast baps I've ever eaten, absolutely delicious for £7. A curly Cumberland sausage, with thick crispy bacon and runny egg. There is a circular walk next to the cafe which takes about 1 hour. This is a must visit and is dog and family friendly.
What a find! Lovely charming rural cafe. It´s very dog friendly. We had tea and scones which were delicious. The jam came in a sealed jar and the clotted cream in a small sealed tub. The tea pot held almost three cups of tea.
There is a big car park and lovely walks. Thoroughly recommended.
Love coming to Heather Farm Cafe. The Cafe has a huge seating area outside, much undercover so can be used even on cold and wet days.
The menu is varied with healthy and light options as well as traditional items such as ham, egg and chips. Always have a good breakfast here as well. Nice range of smoothies and juices and I love the mango mission.
Reasonably priced and table service if you are inside or seated on the tables near the cafe.
Great place for dog walkers as they really think about the pooches.
Thank you so much for your wonderful service. The training waiter, who started with you in June, was very funny and welcoming. He was patient and willing to help. Overall he made the experience much more pleasant than our British weather.
Sincerely, the group in a pod :)
Great little spot if you want to sit outside but they are currently plagued with wasps due to tables not being cleared quick enough. If you’re scared of wasps, you might want to give it a miss, at least for the next few weeks
The food is reasonably priced and service is friendly. They are super dog friendly and the surrounding area is perfect for a dog walk.
However, some of the food was pretty greasy for my liking.
Lovely little spot. I come here very regularly as it’s local to me and a convenient spot to take the dogs. Staff are amazing and the food is great too. The atmosphere is also wonderful.
On two occasions I have had an awkward situation with other customers (one with another dog pestering mine, and another when an elderly couple got confused and sat on my table) and the staff were super stars. In the most polite and professional way, separate staff members noticed the awkwardness and in the event of the dog, suggested the dogs may be more comfortable sat at a distance and with the elderly couple discretely checked if I was comfortable with the situation. Im amazed the staff were able to pay such attention anyway through their busy work shift and to handle the environment with such grace is heart warming. I will continue to eat and relax here. Generous sized coffee!
Very popular area for walking dogs. When the weather is fine you can sit outside and enjoy breakfast or a snack. Wet lands around. Depending on weather wear suitable shoes.
Situated at the start of a walk around the Horsell Common preservation area. This cafe is worth a visit. Staff friendly and service is quick. There is seating inside and out, with quite a bit of outside seating covered. A popular place to stop for dog walkers. The only reason not 5 stars for food and atmosphere is it did seem a bit on the pricey side but where isn't and at the end of the day it's a cafe so atmosphere was ok.
Great venue. Went there for breakfast which was very tasty and had the vegan version which was delicious and menu was extensive. Prices were reasonable. They are pet friendly and have a lovely walk I think 2.8 miles from memory where you can have breakfast and then go for a walk or visa versa. Plenty of parking too. I would highly recommend it.
I hadn't been back to the farm since the cafe opened but it's great to see it doing well. We had a lovely walk, all the way up to Fairoaks past the horses and back again. We then settled into the cafe before the showers turned up with a well-earned, delicious milkshake. The staff were very friendly, one woman in particular but I didn't catch her name sadly.
Everyone walking was very friendly and considerate of other walkers, it is a shame then when you see some inconsiderate dog owners have left behind their dog's doings - in some cases right next to the dog bin provided! But aside from that, it's a lovely walk, as you trek further along you allow yourself time to enjoy the sound of the crickets and can stop over the bridges to watch the pond skaters. I would like to visit in different seasons to see how the landscape changes and develops.
Been here a few times now and I am very impressed with the selection of food on the menu, quality of food and overall experience. The cafe caters for breakfast, brunch or lunch and even light bites. Table service was great and prompt. No complaints but I will mention that the Cafe is slightly understaffed as of 31/08/21 but I’m sure that will change soon. 😁
♿ A lovely place with pleasant service and easily accessible entrance (indoor and outdoor), washroom, and parking.
Excellent location, food was delicious, service very friendly. Our dog was welcome as we're many others. Great walks around the cafe, don't be put off by the title 'cafe' the food was restaurant quality.
Beautiful breakfast, they used good quality products which will keep us ,an other people coming ,back,
cooked perfectly.
Only down side is (serz charge?)
Not sure why you have to pay that cause the food price already reflects that in its cost.
But 10/10 still!!!
I am still sitting at our table at Heather Farm, so keen to write this review. This cafe is great. Super food, great staff who are attentive and polite, good atmosphere and although I havent paid yet, I dont think the prices were bad either. TBH this is our first time here and regardless of the price, we will be back very soon. A well run business that is a credit to the owners/manager.
