Travelled down Friday night from the Midlands to stop over before heading off to Thorpe Park on Saturday. The staff here are absolutely lovely. So accommodating and sweet to talk to. Checked into our room which was absolutely gorgeous and amazing to stay in. Had a drink at the bar before heading off

Cracking pub, good atomosphere, friendly staff. Good range of food on the menu and has always been good quality when I eat here (which is quite often!). Quiz on a Thursday evening is always good fun and a good laugh.
Dog friendly too.

Came to the wheatsheaf for a meal, the atmosphere was lovely, the service was great, the tomato soup is very tasty and just enough to satisfy. The Eton mess sundae is a delight.
You can come in on your own and always feel comfortable.
