Travelled down Friday night from the Midlands to stop over before heading off to Thorpe Park on Saturday. The staff here are absolutely lovely. So accommodating and sweet to talk to. Came to the wheatsheaf for a meal, the atmosphere was lovely, the service was great, the tomato soup is very tasty and just enough to satisfy. The Eton mess sundae is a delight. You can come in on your own and always feel comfortable. Well done to Becky and her team
