Reviews The Inn West End

Our room was excellent and staff very helpful and competent when asked to change the arrangement of the twin beds; room was also absolutely spotless and well appointed. Breakfast was above and beyond expectations and past experiences in other B&Bs/inns. Only had evening meal once and, because of late booking, had to eat in bar area which was very noisy that evening and slightly off-putting as it was our last meal with family before heading back to Canada. Service on that one occasion was not up to the par we had experienced in the dining room either. Would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the Woking area. Very handy to motorways too.

The Inn is a hidden gem. Less than 20 minutes from Heathrow it is an excellent location for a brief stopover or a base to explore the English countryside. The food is fabulous, the rooms are great and the staff is superb. I will be making the Inn at West End my place to stay when I fly through Heathrow.

Every time I go to our UK office I stay here. Quite convenient as they office is practically next door. The best thing however is that it is a great place to be. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff are very helpful and friendly and the food is delicious. I can recommend it to anyone.

My girlfriend and I stayed in one of the slightly larger rooms for two nights. The room was very nice but the genuine friendly family feel service, the excellent food and the wine list are what makes the The Inn at West End something really special and a place I would definitely recommend. I write that as a frequent traveller who takes food and wine pretty seriously :-)

A truly individual pub and restaurant offering very good gastro pub style cooking in a very relaxed atmosphere. Well worth a visit if you like decent food and wine.

As a starter, being a gay couple, we were not once made to feel uncomfortable or out of place. My girlfriend and I were treated no different whatsoever to other guests and we thank you so much for that. We were super impressed with EVERYTHING and I can honestly say I can't find one thing to grumble about. The room was awesome, the food was stunning and the jazz band today was brilliant. We will definitely recommend you ... thank you for a beautiful time in a beautiful place x

I visited here for the first time last night with a couple of girlfriends and we had the best time. The food is amazing and the wine even more so. Attentive staff and lovely ambiance. Looking forward to returning again.

Wonderful food and drink in great surroundings, prepared by people who obviously care. Served by a very helpful and happy group of people. Well done Gerry and Ann for assembling a first rate establishment.

My wife’s birthday falls on Burns Night, so I decided we would go to the Burns Supper at the Inn West End. A marvellous evening, with music, recitals and a splendid array of food, including Cullen Skink, Haggis Tatties and Neeps, Deer, Cranachan and a Wee Dram. Loved it!

Just popped down with some of the family for a drink as you do, and decided to eat in the bar. Two excellent venison burgers, a harissa lamb and a pork parcel later we are all saying what a great dinner that was. Gerry - the pork parcel must be on the main menu!!

A great lunch. I had to organise a Sunday lunch for a group of eight, half-way between London and Hampshire recently and this little pub definitely fit the bill. Good produce (fish and game in particular), confident cooking, very friendly service and a warm feel to the place.

My five year old dined with us and it didn't concern the owners/staff in the slightest. They offered to make a child size main unprompted and were most welcoming.

The inn @ west end is a cracking gastro pub, and it's no wonder why they have won numerous awards the food is excellent! In Retalliation to MG's review, if you have been here before with friends you would have seen a nice sign on the entrance (at eye level) saying no work clothes, No children. Intact the only way you wouldn't see it is if you are 2ft tall/ completely blind or you simply can't read. I would definately recommend the inn if you like a place that does great posh food that's not overly priced good beer/larger and superb selection of wines. This place is not for hard to please wingers, pikeys or miserable pillocks if you are go to the hare and hounds down the road.

Went for dinner on a Friday evening. Good choices are available on the menu and the food was first rate. We had starters and main meals. Each of the three of us chose different dishes, but all were served together and were hot and well presented. I am very happy to give a five star rating to the staff and for the food. No way could we have eaten a sweet as well as the portions were generous. An excellent choice of where to visit when in the area and I am sure we will visit again. Not the cheapest place around, but we'll worth the money. Congratulations to the staff and kitchen workers.

Great little inn. Especially if you happen to need to lock rifles up. They are dog friendly. Food is great. The inn is warm and cozy, good beer garden. Rooms clean and spacious. Good car park and range of beers. Close to Sunningdale and I can only assume a gun range hence the rifle safe in the rooms. Could do with air con in the summer but other than that nice place to stay.

I really love this place. I’m local and come in often whether with friends, family or even by myself to crack on with my laptop for some admin work. I’ll often take my dog in there too if the weather is nice as they’re so friendly and accommodating. The food is great and the environment is so homely and relaxing. The prices are good too, especially if you consider the economic increases! I haven’t stayed in the rooms myself, but I had a friend looking for something local and they really rated it. Staff are wonderful - whether I’m in for a chat or looking for some peace and quiet I’m always left feeling satisfied.

Dropped in for a coffee while my car was in at Martin's Tyres. Didn't realise they did breakfast from 7 a.m onwards. I will know for next time. Very friendly service and good coffee. Will be going back to try the breakfast in the near future.

The Inn is local to where we live and my husband always enjoy our visits here. When we have family visiting we will bring them and my in laws have enjoyed staying in the rooms. The staff are always so accommodating and welcoming. There is a good selection on the breakfast menu and lunch and dinner menu covers all people tastes.

Nice little pub, but can get very busy as big beer garden. Night we were there food service was slow, but they did tell us in advance. Food good.

Convenient for us as we were meeting friends. Not much hanging space. Room had good shower and comfy, just bit worried about leaving window open all night as hot and rooms ground floor. Obviously a popular place.

Very nice restaurant and hotel with a beer garden in the back. Nice rooms with spacious bathrooms. The rooms are separated from the main restaurant for less noise. Great breakfast and very nice and efficient service. It's a great place for a nice stay.

Parking a bit tricky. Had supper there for my birthday. Staff were efficient in taking our order but food service was a tad slow.
