Our first time eating out for lunch. Great selection of starters, mains and dessrts. Grill menu and snacks as well as specials. Plenty of fantastic outside covered seating with heating. We chose Pork belly starter and white bait starters. I also had 2 garlic Prawns off the specials...Absolutely delicious. Couldn't fault anything and could've eaten more of them. I then chose Chicken and Avocodo Tortilla salad bowl, my husband chose the house steak burger, that had triple cooked chips and red cabbage slaw with it. Absolutely scrumptious. I polished mine off, not the tortilla though, too full. We had plenty of drinks and thought the service was fantastic. We've booked to go again to try the Sunday Lunch in a few weeks. Highly recommend trying this pub since being taken over. They've clearly gone to great lengths to make the place a pleasurable experience under such trying circumstances. We felt really looked after and thoroughly enjoyed our experience of outside dining.

We had a chilled out afternoon in the garden. There was an inflatable castle in the garden too for the kids to enjoy!

Don't go out alot cause I work in a bar and don't get out much but I had great time had a lil too much and the landlord told me where the line was . Very respectful of his staffs boundaries. A very friendly Irish fella but looks after his people which goes along way for me as a bar manager i love to see places look after the workers more than the customers when we've had to much to drink. Highly recommended five stars

We had a really lovely meal. The portions are a good size and taste fantastic. I like the covered seating outside but don't think smoking should be allowed under cover. I was also concerned by waitrons not wearing facemasks? I hope they will be when serving inside.

Service was very good I had the fillet steak food which would have been excellent except the chef had gone a bit overboard with the salt seasoning. I felt the same applied for the complete meal, they reduced the price of my meal by 10 percent as a gesture. Well worth a visit we will be returning

Five stars for the enthusiasm and effort in trying a new venture. Everybody seems so friendly and welcoming in this family run pub, staff and regulars alike. Had a good roast, beef and beer were good. Looking forward to the summer bbq!

Traditional English Pub, serving traditional American Diner Food... Pint of IPA and a Chili Cheeseburger? Sounds odd, works really well. Actually those is probably the best American Diner I've found outside America. The food really is of very good quality. Everything is apparently prepared in-house, and from what I tasted that's probably true. From the atmosphere-perspective, the Weathercock is an Old English Pub to the bone, complete with low-beams, fireplace, and several ales on tap. Service is friendly and welcoming, and prices are quite fair. I'll be coming back here...

Excellent friendly service. Wide variety of food on offer. Flexible chef who was willing to create a meal not on the menu. Plus, gin bar! Highly recommended
