Typical seaside cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. After reading some peoples reviews I was expecting something amazing. Did not do it for us from an atmosphere point of view. Food and service were good and prices were fine.
What a find! Turned off on a whim and had a lovely home cooked lunch. Super relaxed atmosphere in the cafe and spot on service. We were gifted coffee and cake for a small error in our order. It has a nice shop and gallery and is DOG FRIENDLY! Wonderful views too. Go now!
Really incredible place. The food is as amazing as the view! They were very accommodating and cooked their pizza on our Gluten free base that we brought. They do have vegan cheese too.
Lovely sunny evening, we ordered 2 pizzas which were very tasty, crab & chilli pizza and also an asparagus pizza. Both were absolutely delicious. Friendly staff, clean environment and a wonderful setting. Highly recommend 5☆
The other half and I stopped here one bank holiday afternoon and had a lovely lunch.
Don't be put off by the full car park or queue outside the café; while we queued for around 15 minutes to be served, it was clearly a slick operation, with friendly and efficient people running the cafe. Our order was taken and we sat at a free table inside, our tea and cakes and then main was served to us shortly afterwards. Everywhere was clean and tidy, including the toilets.
We shared a Wiverton Hall Salad (which is a collection of seasonal, fresh and tasty salad items) with a bunch of asparagus wrapped in prosciutto and a side of fries. We had this with a pot of tea for 2, a slice of coffee and walnut cake and a piece of Bakewell tart. This was all very good and fair priced at £24.
We will certainly visit again. We even saw Desmond walk past outside!
Been coming here for years but stopped coming when Wiveton hall featured on a TV programme and prices subsequently rocketed. Returned this year and prices back to normal and quality of food is excellent and of course the views from the outdoor seating is fantastic. We now come every week ! Can highly recommend.
Had enjoyable tea and cakes . The meals looked good too but we were eating out later on.
Fantastic spot for breakfast, and if you pick your table right - with views over the North Norfolk coast. Good coffee, with lots of milk alternatives available, and a great full English, with a vegetarian alternative too. Artwork adorned the walls, with an AGA log fire. Friendly staff, dogs welcome, plenty of outdoor seating and individual outdoor huts for groups too. Stop by the gift shop on the way out for a good selection of Norfolk produce and wares. Worth checking out the ‘loo with a view’.
Cafe decorated with slightly childish furniture. Serving nice quality brunch Of eggs Benedict and tea.
The Benedict had good quality carved ham, not the water thin nonsense. Eggs cooked just right.
That meal and a tea was about £9.
Essentially you dine in a barn. Only 3 tables have a window view. But even the window view was nothing special- farm land.
There’s a small shop adjacent. Sells cards, books, trickers.
Local café near the Norfolk coast ...located down a driveway just off the coast road. Stopped for coffee as cake. Good coffee and delicious coffee walnut cake. Well worth a visit.
Stopped off for coffee and cake. Been many times and it never disappoints lovely seating area in the wildflower area looking out over the fields to the sea. Well worth a stop off. Hopefully will comeback this summer for their evening menu.
Initially it appears ordinary but the decor, staff and food are all exceptional
It's not easy making money out of an estate but this lot have got it right. Good taste, courage and a great chef is probably what made it.
Great place to come with kids. They can run wild in every direction.
Had an amazing day yesterday. Good coffee and good food. Beautiful place to just chill grab a coffee and some food. Meet new friends.
Loved this place my first visit, food was great
Fantastic staff, scenery, facilities and food. Great buzzer system when food is ready. Tables are nicely spaced out.
Wiveton Hall Cafe and shop is a real find. Made famous by Normal for Norfolk TV show. We saw Desmond on site and he is exactly as you'd expect. The staff here are so accommodating and seem genuinely happy to be there. We only stopped for a nice coffee but were eyeing up the lovely cake offerings. The shop has an interesting array of gifts and cards. Best to go on a good day when you can sit outside and enjoy the wonderful view. The only downside is that you never really get a good view of Wiveton Hall itself, although you can actually book a stay there if you're prepared to cough up a wodge of cash.
What a great place. Recommended to us by friends so we popped along for Sunday lunch. Food was great, staff very friendly, and what stunning views looking over the marshes to the sea. We loved the quirkiness of the place: where else can you choose to eat in a shed next to sheep and chickens, or at a table in the middle of a meadow surrounded by 3' vegetation. Very chilled experience, the kind of place you could easily while away an afternoon. Thoroughly recommended.
Only had some drinks, but it was friendly, not too busy and the views were amazing. Not entirely "normal", even for Norfolk!
Delicious pizza in a fantastic atmosphere. We sat outside with gorgeous sea views on a lovely Friday evening listening to a guitarist strumming. There were lots of kids having fun and dog friendly. Couldn’t have wished for more 👌👌
