We attended the April supper night and one of us also had the wine flight. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The food was excellent, really tasty and beautifully presented. All of the seven courses could not be faulted and clearly the staff had worked very hard. The accompanying wines were also really enjoyable and well matched to the food. The addition of some quick, unobtrusive information about the wine was both interesting and entertaining. The service was great and the whole evening was excellent value for money. I would recommend such an event and I'm sure we'll go again.

This is a lovely quiet place to stay. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the chef produces delicious beautifully cooked food. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and it looked out over a village green. The Wiveton Bell is perfectly located for exploring the north coast of Norfolk it’s a gem and our favourite of all the Chestnut group pubs with rooms. We can’t wait to go back.

We booked for lunch, but on arrival were told there were no steaks or burgers on the menu, due to a delivery delay by their supplier. However, the manager went “above and beyond” the call of duty and asked the chef to drive to a”sister” establishment to pick up some burgers, while we tucked in to our starter! The burgers were then cooked on the premises and were really great. We barely noticed any delay. Incredible service really and “huge thanks” goes out to all the staff for devising - and delivering - a solution.

Just finished a 3 night stay at this excellent pub/restaurant with rooms. Service throughout our stay was exceptional! We read very good reviews about the restaurant and were not disappointed - so much so we ate our 3 dinners in the restaurant which included a 'local food heroes' menu on the Tuesday evening. Excellent wine (by the glass) list, all reasonably priced which was very welcome. Breakfasts were delicious too and made to order. We stayed in the White Room (one of only 6) which was nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed and quality linens.

Food was lovely, we were booked at 7 and unfortunately a couple of dishes had sold out but hostess was very helpful which was nice . Did feel a little uncomfortable with our table location, think it would have been better to have it as a table for two rather than squeeze 3 or 4 in, but it was OK. Was busy. We didnt take our dogs in but it is a dog friendly place.

Having eaten at The Wiveton Bell on two previous occasions we stayed here for the food and were not disappointed. It was excellent. The room was fine and the under-floor heating in the shower room much appreciated. However the bedroom was cold on arrival and we found that the electric radiator was not even plugged in, let alone turned on! A jar contained one packet of two biscuits and this was never replenished. We had to ask for a hairdryer.

The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The food was first class and service was great. I scored the room as 4* as the bed is very low to the floor which is challenging and perhaps should be included in the description. However that did not distract from the overall ecxperience which was excellent.

Hi -- we stayed with you for one night - along with our grand daughter Lacey. She had the panelled room and we appreciated you moving Fiona & I into the Garden Room so that Lacey could be close by. Dinner was excellent, as was breakfast -- so thank you for making things so enjoyable. Fiona and I look forward to returning by ourselves over the summer. Cheers Murray

The food was good and the staff very friendly but the service was poor. It was a bit hectic when we arrived because the 2 year old was being difficult. However nobody came over to our table and after 10 minutes + I had to go and find someone to ask for water for everyone. We ordered some drinks and food for the children but in order to order our main meal I again had to find someone. There was no one in the dining area and I had to go into the back of the bar to ask for service. It was disconcerting and embarrassing ( we had friends from America with us) that there was no one in the dining area to serve us. Though friendly they were preoccupied with talking to each other rather than waiting on tables.

A cute setting with a lovely room, situated beside a church. The pub, and the room we had, are on the side of a road that is the main route in and out of the nearby village. However, it is not too disturbing and pretty quiet. The pub's aesthetic is nice enough, but we found the service to be pretty slow, particularly as the pub was quite empty when we had entered and placed our order. The food was ok, but we found the burger to be somewhat dry and the battered fish to be quite greasy. We paid for the option to have breakfast included, which was also nothing spectacular. The French Toast is on sourdough, so isn't quite the soft and smooth texture that is expected of French toast, and the bananas onto were still quite tough and minimally caramelised. I have struggled to justify the price paid, given our experience but the staff are very friendly and receptive of the feedback, and the location is cute and very close to Cley beach.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch on Easter Day. Despite being very full, and us running late, they couldn’t have been more lovely and welcoming. Food, service and atmosphere fantastic and much appreciated after a long walk.

Just back from a three night stay at the Wiveton bell. We had such a lovely few days away. The pub has a lovely warm, welcoming, feel about it straight away, decorated and furnished cosily, keeping its pub charm, yet with a modern feel. A beautiful setting, and also close to so many other lovely places, Cley, Holt, Holkham, Cromer, Sheringham....so handy for lots of places, without the crowds. The food was really lovely, great menu, cooked really well, it was the loveliest meal we had had out in a long time! Staff were so friendly and helpful, proffesional and good at what they do. Nothing was a problem and we were made to feel at home. We decided to join the bingo on the Friday night, which was great fun! A busy vibrant pub full of people doing something a little different, and a good cause in providing for chosen charities. Great to see everyone come together. Staff here were a great group of people, and that goes such a long way, not one to do a review but wanted to share, we already look forward to going back.

Our first visit. We had Sunday lunch, in a very vibrant , attractive room. A warm welcome, and great service, but something went wrong half way through our meal. We finished our main course, and our waitress disappeared. Everyone passed us with our empty plates infront of us, for the next 15 - 20 minutes, until I asked for them to be removed. Hopefully it was a hiccup,

Had a very lovely meal at the charity quiz night, our Waitress Niamh was wonderful and attentive, she provided good service from start to finish. The food was great as we're the drinks and the quiz money raised went to a very good cause.

We have just had my sons 40th birthday lunch. I would first and foremost like to thank JADE and her staff for making it a memorable time. There were 40 people eating and drinking and it all went off without a hitch. Everyone commented that the atmosphere and decor was lovely. the food and drink was excellent. We all had a memorable time. Just to say a big thank you to Jade for all her hard work and help in arranging the lunch.

A perfect last minute pre-Christmas escape. Great walks to/round Blakeney and Cley from your doorstep. Spacious room (Starlight room) with a very comfortable bed and everything you'd need. We ate in the restaurant on both nights - food and service excellent.

Discrepancy regarding Sunday menu advertised on website and offered in restaurant. On website 2/3 course £28/£34 per person. Menu provided in restaurant didn’t have this option. Asked member of staff tending table and advised this was no longer offered. Website needs to be updated.

Wow, what a lovely place to stay. Every member of staff were so welcoming and friendly, the library room was perfectly set out and just where we needed to be to have a relaxing stay. The evening meal was delicious and breakfast was plentiful.
