The Greyhound Pub - Wivenhoe - Photo album

I attended my sisters civil partnership at weekend and the reception was held at your amazing pub! Everything was perfect, and thank you for making everyone feel so welcome. The room was perfect and the food was delicious ( especially the vegan tart). Highly recommended.
Lovely warm and welcoming pub. The beef stew was absolutely wonderful - good portion, superb flavours, the sort of dish you just don't want to end. The burger is up there with the best we've had.
Great choice of beer, great food & exceptional staff. Service is always friendly & efficient. Our number 1 pub in Wivenhoe
Lovely beer garden in the summer. The chips here are some of the best I've had in a long time. The twice cooked hand cut chips are creamy and taste like roast potatoes, and the skin on fries are beautiful too. Had a great veggie burger here and apparently the sausage sandwich is nice too.

Booked a family Sunday roast for 14 people of various ages. Food was plentiful and delicious. The service was top class...very attentive to individual needs. Will definitely book again 👍
Lovely welcoming pub. Plenty of space inside with a huge outdoor area - booking advised if you want a Sunday roast! Delicious roast (had the rib of beef) and a cracking range of beers to compliment (Adnams Ghost Ship, Broadside & Leffe being the standouts). Friendly, attentive staff, reasonably pric
Very nice food, not your usual pub grub. Had to order in advance which I did find odd for a pub as it's not often I know what I want to eat until the day. Food took a while to arrive despite a pre order but it was very tasty none the less. We did actually pre book the duction room upstairs for our g
