Beautiful location but did have the issue that clientele at the table next door were having a very loud conversation as a man told his wife so loudly the whole restaurant could hear that a woman was too skinny and had no chest, and that trans people did not exist, something his whole table loudly ag
A truly beautiful location, great atmosphere, lovely friendly staff and a really fabulous food menu. This ticked all the boxes for us and the quality of the food and choice available was excellent and really good value too. We will 100% be coming back!!
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Best food we've had at a Chef and Brewer. Very quick service, food piping hot and great portions. So impressed that went back the following evening and ordered different items, again same quality on all counts. 10/10 Highly recommended.
I’ve been here twice in the past month and both times have been great! The location is great especially when the sun is out! The food was lovely and the service was good. Another bonus is it’s dog friendly! I will be back
A very beautiful countryside pub located next to the river Thames. It has a great number of indoor and outdoor/patio sittings. Clean and well maintained. We visited here for the Sunday roast and the view. It comes with a reasonable portion for the roast of sirloin beef. Beef is tender and tasty, but
Love this pub..Excellent service and wonderful location. On this visit we were particularly impressed with the standard of the food - beautifully cooked and presented, good portion sizes and a great choice of both meat and veggie options. The fresh asparagus with my roasted veg and onion tart were
We just live Chef and Brewer pubs. Always in gorgeous settings with great staff. We were early for our table so we checked in and sat at the bar for a bit. It's a busy pub but has a calm feel to it and that's down to the running of it. We had a lovely waitress who was happy to join in with a gigg
Not sure why this pub had a lower rating. We went for the global greyhound walk today and it was a lovely place. Stayed more for the Sunday roast, food was great and decoration was very cosy and welcoming. The staff was super friendly too. It's also nice that the place has a convenient car park, def
We'd been here a few times for drinks as often camp locally and so decided to book in for Sunday lunch. It does get busy on a sunny weekend so we booked a few weeks out. You also need to allow for traffic! On Saturday it took 20 mins to go half a mile on the final approach due to bridge traffic ligh
We came for a lovely meal and that is exactly what we received. Unfortunately due to 'sickness' the staff were under pressure but performed extremely well. Our waitress Meletta was great, prompt and attentive. The food was very good but due to over eating declined the pudding. Their out door tables
Had Sunday lunch. Not busy because the weather was wet and cold. Staff friendly but a couple of errors in the food and drink orders - quickly corrected. Turkey a little dry, beef rib overcooked with crunchy bits.... Nice spot but needs to up the game a little.
