Every takeaway is worth the money, we tried the large sausage with batter and chicken nuggets yesterday it was the best. Curry sauce is still the bomb.

The food was excellent and the portions were very good and delivery was very quick , my only complaint is the delivery charge ,
I was charged £4-22 plus 40p service charge , I expect to pay for delivery but just thought it was a bit much
For the past few months I will eating chips aty local chip shop the food was miss and hit but on Wednesday night I didn't know there was another chip shop Witney so I ordered my food online with Godfather when I received my.fppd it was piping hot tastey the fis was amazing and a lot cheaper than my local chip shop . Thank god for cod gathered I'm saying goodbye to my local chip shop. Hello and welcome Godfather yumm food
By far the nicest chips in Witney. Honestly the nicest chip shop chips I've had anywhere in the UK. This chip shop gets very busy at peak times due to how popular it is, but it is worth it and the portions are very big.
Update - this chip shop changed ownership in 2023. The portions are not quite as big as before, (the previous owner filled the box so much she could barely close the lid!) but the chips were still very nice
Really good food. Freshly cooked and very good portions. The cod was fantastic. Big pot of curry sauce. The meal could easy of made two decent meals. The halloumi was really good. Crispy not soggy. Really friendly lady serving. Eat out alot around the UK due to work, but if around here again ill be popping in the Codfather again 👍

The only place around for safe and authentic gluten free fish and chips. The owner is always so friendly and welcoming, a true chef! The fish tastes as fresh as coastal chippies, and the chips and batter are authentic as ever. I have coeliac disease with high sensitivity, most fish and chips that are “gluten free” still make me ill, often to the lack of staff knowledge in controlling contamination. Codfather always deliver on hygiene and taste!
Great food, great service and price. The only fish and chips we've truly enjoyed that wasn't by the seaside.

We booked Codfather for our corporate event today, catering for 60 of our staff. They arrived exactly on time, with a smile, and were quick and efficient setting up and serving the team. The food was excellent! Piping hot, good portion sizes, chips excellent, and the fish was cooked perfectly. Even the vegetarians were happy with the veggie burgers on offer. I wouldn't hesitate to book them again, and indeed we will do one day soon. Thank you Codfather! Perfect 10 out of 10 😎
Cod and chips, curry sauce and onion rings - our usual takeaway from the Codfather. Fish is always fresh, tasty and chunky - all one size, it is really on the large side and at £5.50 per portion, great value for money. Plenty of parking space outside, which is a bonus. Oh, and the owner always is in a good mood, we usually have a chat while we wait and the wait is never long even when they are busy!
