Excellent tavern with Hook Norton ales, always in great condition. Beautiful unspoiled interior with inglenook fireplace and original Cotswold stone walls and oak beams. There are some great cozy places to sit. Definitely one of the very best pubs in Witney.
Traditional beers and a healthy gin selection, busy each weekend including every second Sunday for open mic night.
Great! Nice beer and a delicious ploughman's. Enjoy in a traditional pub atmosphere.

We were lucky to be able to have a table next to the open fire, Really friendly service made a great couple of hours.

Nice pub. Very busy on a Saturday night but with a good atmosphere. Quite low ceilings in places.

The best public house in the town with the best landlord and landlady. Always friendly and welcoming. Great selection of modern and traditional ales. Nice warm fire on a cold winter's day.
Enjoyed having a few drinks at this place, from sitting outside in the sun in the beer garden to soaking up the very lively Saturday night atmosphere. Shame they don't accept card yet - contactless payment would have gotten them a good few more sales when we were there as a group!

Fantastic pub! Great character, hosts couldn't have been friendlier. Cosy corners dotted around. Bring cash, as no cards, and no food, but given these limitations I couldn't recommend highly enough.
Nice pub in for darts, but cramped but good atmosphere , sorry guys but for someone who drinks soft drink alot, the coke is horrible, flat and not nice taste.

By far the best and most authentic pub in witney. Real drinks, real ale a great atmosphere and a fantastic gun menu. Oh and an actual jukebox, amazing!
Beautiful, traditional English pub in the heart of Witney. Fabulous selection of beers and gin. Great staff. Interesting and well thought out decor.
Only pop in here for a swift pint but the atmosphere is great. Always feel welcome. They do a quiz night too.
