I have stayed here numerous times and always leave happy. This was the first time being placed in the rooms outside the main pub, which aren't quite as nice in my opinion. It was still very clean and had air conditioning. The food is amazing, so make sure you have breakfast!

Sadly disappointed to hear they had sold out of roasts on our arrival at 4pm. They are obviously very popular. That said, Don’t be put off, the menu still had great choice and the quality of food was fantastic ! will definitely return.
We went for a meal here on a Friday night, was temped in by the pie menu, and it didn’t disappoint! Pies loaded to the brim, one of the best I’ve ever eaten! Pizza was brilliant, really good service, no complaints and wouldn’t hesitate booking again.
Had a lovely dinner at the blue boar. Vegan sharing platter and the vegan pizza's were both great! Our waiter, Steve, was brilliant. Enthusiastic and really attentive, thanks!
Had a fantastic bottomless Prosecco brunch with friends. Food was great, Staff attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.
I have a severe allergy to nuts, I was so relieved to hear this business went nut free 4 years ago, such a relief not to worry about cross contamination etc.,

Great service with a good breakfast in the morning. Rooms are well priced but mine at least was a little tired. Air con a huge bonus when it’s hot. Would happily stay again
Had an amazing meal at at The Blue Boar with exceptional customer service from Ruby. Welcoming manager as well (Steve). Food tasted superb and the atmosphere is great. A right little gem of a restaurant in Witney. An underground New Yorky vibe (in the best possible way). We will be back! 😍

The rooms are okay - clean and decent sized, with all the amenities you could need (kettle & hot drinks, hair dryer, iron/board, shower gels/lotions, A/C), however our bathroom smelt very damp.

The Blue Boar is absolutely fantastic! The food is always amazing and the staff always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The atmosphere is super cozy too. Really can’t fault this wonderful place! Plus it is dog friendly
Sometimes planning is everything. This time We wandered into this little gem with the intention of a quick drink and pub lunch, but stayed for a very tasty restaurant meal. And well worth it with two wonderful Pancettas and sweets.
Had a very nice vegetarian salad bowl, which was delicious. The bowl of french fries at £5.50 needs to be more generous.
Great staff and service, good food. Highly reccomend. Myself and Witney Book Club come every month to have our get together in the Bosworth suite. We usually order food and drinks. Staff are always do friendly and accommodating, the food is always gobbled up.
