A lovely place to meet friends and have a bite to eat . I highly recommend the chicken wings and spare rib platter.

We always thoroughly enjoy any time out at the George and Dragon and this time was no exception. We went around 2pm on a Monday so it was a little quieter but the service was very good and we received our meals really quickly! I had the beef and mushroom pie which was incredible; the pastry was light and crispy, the gravy was full of flavour, the chips were fantastic and the overall meal cooked to perfection. My partner chose the "Skinny Bird" which was a great and healthy alternative to an ordinary burger meal. He said it was absolutely delicious, chicken perfectly cooked and the sweet potato fries were better than the ordinary chips! Altogether we really enjoyed our meal and everyone was so friendly. I recommend wholeheartedly!

Would recommend The George and Dragon any day of the week, love pie night (Thursday) a pie for everyone no matter your taste, Wednesday is half price wine night (my favourite) there's also a quiz if you've not drunk too much by this time. This time we tried the Sunday dinner, my goodness, it was delicious, loads of beef and the Yorkshire pudding was amazing. If you've been considering eating here, you must do it, not only is the food great the service is fantastic.

I stopped here with my wife after a day out & on the off chance on the spur of the moment popped in hoping we could get a table for dinner. They were fully booked but they very kindly fitted us in. The service & the ambience was very good & the food was excellent! Would definitely recommend & would definitely visit again if we're in the area again. Faultless!

Stopped for lunch snack on our way for a stay at Mal Maison Oxford. Very impressed, being a vegetarian it was so good to have a choice other than take it or leave it and no risotto!!! Staff were great definitely would return.

Had a meal this evening and had to burgers ! They wasn't cooked to our liking so we asked the waitress if we could please have it cooked longer, and we was presented with 2 brand new plates of food, burgers were amazing by the way, great food, great service and great atmosphere, will definitely be returning thankyou.

Big pub on the main road. Large car park. Several rooms and large garden with Aunt Sally. Usual beers on keg plus Charles Wells on draught. Very welcoming and nice pint of beer. Food is served, but did not try.

Really lovely pub! Nice menu and food is really tasty. Atmosphere great and has really lovely outdoor area to enjoy food and drink in. The car park is really spacious so you can always get parked which is really handy and David the manager and his team are always on hand to help with whatever you require! Really recommend.

Sunday roast is very good. Very polite and helpful restaurant staff. Bar service isn't great. Barmen didn't even acknowledge our presence and kept chatting to other member of staff.

I had the pleasure to get some work done from the pub (it was so nice and cool during the heat this summer) and also enjoying their famous Duck Fries. The food was amazing and alone worth the 30min walk I had to do to get there. But the overall friendliness of the staff and flexibility of giving me a table with a plug was the dot on the eye. Thank for an enjoyable midweek afternoon.

Dog friendly pub. Came here after a long walk from Blenheim on the 2nd of Jan. Tried all the pubs at woodstock and everywhere were fully booked and busy. Found this pub on the way home. We had the classic burger and steak, cheesy chips chili con. Great food! Would come back again.

We visited after a long walk but unfortunately just missed the window for food The friendly staff kindly offered us a huge bowl of the best roast potatoes and a pot of gravy! Good selection of drinks and lovely garden. Will definitely be revisiting

Had a really lovely lunch on Monday, they went the extra mile with the food, and the menu has enough variety and sides that one on a low-carb diet is able to have a tasty meal. Friendly service and a traditional pub feel. We definitely will be coming back.

A very cosy pub with friendly staff. We arrived on a Wednesday evening to sample their tapas (3 for 2) and weren't disappointed. We are both vegetarian and there were just enough options for us. The food was tasty and the prices about right. Would return. Only criticism is that I wish there were just a couple more veggie options.

Service was lovely and friendly. Food options were good. Steak was overcooked which was a shame, but the burger & chips were lovely. A nice pub.

Haven't been for some while - garden is like a building site. Ladies toilet out of action disabled toilet was under water coming into hall. Small fish and chips - the fish was the size of a large fish finger at 11.50 was not value for money.

We've been here a few times now as it is our local pub. Always have had good food and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly as a local pub should be. Looking forward to going again as we really enjoy going here.

Good food , good beer fairly priced for the South. Excellent service for England really enjoyed the banter with our waitress Holly a great asset in a classical English Pub on the Edge of the Cotswolds and Blenheim Palace. One Mile from Churchill's Grave and Birthplace. I like to sit in the bar.
