What a gem of a pub. Quite literally the best sunday roast I have ever had. We were seated in a love private dining hut, cosy and cute! Staff were excellent, food was outstanding! We shall definitely be back!

We sat in the garden terrace to eat under a candlelit canopy.

Was really keen to try "The Holly" again while visiting home and was definitely not disappointed. Always a family favourite I ate lunch here with a friend in their lovely garden in the week - delicious fishcakes after deliberating over a fabulous choice on the menu - washed down with an excellent Sauvignon. Our server, - the manager Lee, was attentive and polite and came out often to ensure we were looked after. Thank you Lee! On the Friday night my family and I came in a group for my last night of farewells and we had an amazing few hours in the lovely garden area with drinks and snacks - and happy hour prices! - on tap - again great service and atmosphere.Really good evening and great to see some old familiar local faces in too. Keep supporting this great pub you are lucky enough to have on your doorstep in Witney! It will def be our first port of call when home again this year.

Fabulous Sunday lunch at this beautiful pub in the Cotswolds. The arancini was insanely good, we should have ordered more of it! The catch of the day was a chalk stream trout, lovely, the cockles were a cute addition to the plate. The roast lamb with trimmings including a fab Yorkshire pud was delicious too. I ate dessert alone and quite happily (& quickly) put away the brownies with honeycomb & caramel, without help from my partner! Highly recommend this dog friendly pub in Witney, really nice garden & private eating rooms out the back as well.

Top quality restaurant/pub. Kind young lad Charlie, as well as Alex, made us feel like home. And the food was pretty much awesome, so awesome I forgot to take more pictures when the mains arrived. Hollybush was an experience to remember, along visiting the beautiful Cotswold villages.
New Owners: ate here on first night open for food. Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, nice music and spotlessly clean. Nice menu that should appeal to all. Warm and cozy on a dreary day with a Beautiful wood stove. Friendly helpful staff. Felt very welcome and at home.
Their moto: if we don’t have it we will get it! (They ran out to get a special steak sauce for my husband.)

Visited this place a few times for drinks. Great pub with a good choice of drinks and great bar staff. Last week served by Lee and he was a great guy and made sure we felt welcome. Would recommend this pub!

We had a few drinks in the Hollybush on Sunday.Good service,friendly staff,busy place.Very nice,food menu looks good,food/ bookings were starting on the Monday as only just opened again with new people.The chef did offer complimentary tasters of aubergine strips and arancini too several of us ,delicious!

Fantastic place to go and eat. A little on the high side for price, but we'll worth it. Have been several times and they have never let us down. The quality of the food us second to none, although service can be a bit slow when busy.
Rang ahead for a last minute booking. Exceptional food and service. Advertised as a Gastro-pub but the food and drink was top notch and delighted with our meal and price.
Heard several people cancelling booking on the phone last minute. No idea of the circumstances but this place is Covid aware. Social distancing, sanitisers, contact tracing and online menus all mean you can come and enjoy your meal/occasion without worry.
Would definitely recommend a visit 👌
Delicious food, lovely wine and friendly staff. The wait was a little too long and the service felt awkward at times. Overall I still highly recommend
We went to the holly bush as heard about their burger buddies deal, 2 burgers for the price of one on thursdays what a steal!
We both had the butter milk burgers with house fries and it was so moist and tasty We will defo be back to try other things on the menu
Absolutely fabulous evening at the Holly Bush tonight Dan and Finn were just so accommodating in our every need.
Service was incredible as was the food.
