Gorgeous cream tea last week with enormous scones. Excellent friendly service, even bought us a bowl of dog biscuits for our Vizsla so he didn't feel left out.

Withypool Tea Room was recommended to my sister & I by guests staying in the hotel we were staying in and we are so glad they did. We visited on Saturday on our tour round, cakes too many to choose from but decided on the lemon drizzle which we thoroughly enjoyed, also decided on 2 cheese scones and rock cake to take with us, which were also excellent. Well worth the visit, a very picturesque village, loved it. xx

A jewel in the Exmoor country side, the proprietor is really friendly and they do a mean pasty. Heartily recommend this to all.

Had a lovely Deven Scone and Coffee, fantastic service, lovely people, gorgeous scone with jam and clotted cream. Sat outside in the Devon sunshine and really enjoyed sitting eating and watching the world go by. Bought cake to take away and enjoy later after my birthday dinner. Will go back with no hesitation. The photo is of the petrol pumps that are in situ outside where you sit. I think it must have been part of the garage which is next door at some time. It adds to the unique atmosphere of the lovely tea rooms. Thank you from the couple with the two black Spaniels.

Such a relief to come across this place during a ongoing gruelling bike ride. I had a delicious cream and whortleberry jam fruit scone and latte. A lovely cafe. Also sells locally made jams and produce and Exmoor souvenirs.

Nice relaxing cafe in the middle of the village. Dog friendly too🐕😁. A good place to stop if you’re on the longer Tarr steps circular walk. Friendly and attentive staff and a nice spot👍

A must stop off....especially if on a walk. We had the beef pasties, which were packed full of filling and a cream tea (how we continued our walk after all of that, God only knows). Anyway, the scone was one of the best I've had. It's a lovely little tearoom in a lovely setting. The food is brilliant and the staff super friendly. Highly recommended.

A lovely little quiet spot in the middle of Exmoor. I had a drink and scone which was freshly made and delicious. I felt like I’d been transported back in time to one where time went much slower and life was much less rushed. Will definitely call in again if I’m in the area.

Delicious cream tea with homemade warm scone and homemade jam ( the scones are warmed in the oven NOT a microwave ) lovely pot of tea too!
