Absolutely love it here, great location, absolutely massive beer garden and the food is amazing. The roast beef was the best I've had in a long time. Super friendly and patient staff

Fab pub. Little bit quiet on a Friday lunchtime but meant the service was exemplary. We forgot to order onion rings and they sorted them out in no time. Huge garden out the back for a sunny afternoon. Halloumi fries and onion rings to die for and their main burger 🤤🤤

We went here as it was in the village mum 80 grew up in as a girl and she hadn't been for over 30 years It was very quiet but usual pub restaurant atmosphere staff polite and friendly. I also had my eldest boy 9 and toddler 22 months old only. Food was good but only complaint and it isn't a bad one is we had the Sunday roast dinner £15, but the beef was very thick cut about 2 large 6mm thick and kids had burgers and chips with "free ice cream" £9 each and drinks weren't too expensive I had pint of coke £2.50 mum had 1/2 larger shandy £3.25 kids had tap water free.

Great atmosphere, pints are very reasonably priced. Nice beer garden in the summer, lots of indoor space in the winter very cost indoors. Lots of parking which is a bonus for Manchester pubs.

Called in for lunch on way home, food was great value and very nice, plentiful portions. Well looked after by the staff & manager, tried the Manchester lager and can recommend. Decent pub and will return when in the area, thank you.

Great food! Friendly staff. My only criticism is that they sometimes serve food on planks of wood when a plate would be (IS ALWAYS!) more appropriate. Come on guys there's no need for this - it adds nothing to the food but definitely takes away from the dining experience! Plates naturally have a lipped edge that catches sauces and stops chips from rolling onto the table. PLEASE PRESENT FOOD ON PLATES!

Great large beer garden, dog friendly. Pub is modern and staff friendly. Food leaves a lot to be desired, shame! Would go again for drinks but probably not food

Took my mum today for her 80th birthday . We had a wonderful visit . Food was excellent . Sean and his team were brilliant nothing was to much trouble . My mum is in a wheelchair and the staff were very accommodating getting the ramp out for us . She was made to feel very special and Sean came and took some family pictures for us . Lovely pub, nice service and grub..just came out of Christie's and after seeing delays on M56 we decided to grab a bite instead of sat in traffic for 1.5 hrs... Really enjoyable ...it was busy but being sunny ☀️ for a change the beer garden was bouncing.

Great and great staff. However, need to make sure limes and lemons are ordered as gin and tonic not the same. Furthermore, the doorman was completely devoid of social skills. I could do a better job at 10 stone wet.

Great food, service maybe a bit slow but there is an amazing garden beer so you won't mind waiting for a bit 🙂
