Lovely old pub! Take care where you sit in winter! You'll be boiled alive sat by the glorious real fires or sat in a draught by the old windows! Food lovely, staff very friendly with regulars but visitors are barely acknowledged! We will however be back, and prepared! Ideal lunchtime meeting place x

A pub with rooms/hotel just off the main road. Very welcoming offering good food, ales etc. The room was dog friendly and spacious. The bathroom was one of the largest en suites I've experienced. I have no hesitation recommending this location
