Owner very friendly, very generous portions. We had fish, chips and curry sauce and pie, chips and gravy. Eat every little bit, chips were very good. Would recommend.
Chose this chippy on a day trip as the other was closed, best one in Withernsea if you ask me. Freshly cooked fish crispy batter and decent portion and price.
Went for lunch as was working in Withernsea for the day. Went on the reviews and this shop came up as highest in the area.

We have been using south cliff fisheries for a while honestly the food is 10 out of 10 the staff are brilliant and always service with a smile and great value for money in my personal opinion best fish shop around
Amazing!! The 2 women that served me was very polite and funny to have a chat with, food was banging would but again from here, very much deserved

Sorry Mr lighthouse keeper, but you don't do fresh fried giant flaky white fish, chunky chips and thick green mushy peas for half the price you pay in Hornsea!

Just had lovely fish and chips with mushy peas. Fish was the best I’ve had in years and very reasonably priced. Service exceptional A+++

Not a chippy fan anymore, but the fish and chips I got were amazing. Good old-fashioned chips with a dark colour to them. Nice chuncky fish, not disguised with a ton of batter.
