Excellent place to visit. Great cakes, excellent service, and a miniature railway. Fully recommend a visit. We shall certainly go again

Great place to visit, honest food, lovely staff, busy at peak times due to its popularity. Absolutely worth a visit.

It's a super place for a catch-up with friends. The service was great, and I thoroughly enjoyed the generous portion of bubble & squeak with eggs & beans. The car park was quite busy, but I believe there are overspill options. It was busy and noisy inside by 1.30pm on the Saturday I visited, but there are covered seating options outside if you struggle with hearing. Quaint and atmospheric, and I had no problem finding it. I'll definitely visit again.

Awesome. Yummy tummy satisfied. Delicious food friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Located in a quiet, pleasant area in little braxted. Afternoon tea for 5. Unlimited tea, variety of sandwiches, scones with cream & jam, chocolate cupcakes and short bread, cheese twist, pineapple cheese sticks. The overall experience was good but my only concern was the wet, muddy parking area.

We won a delicious Valentine afternoon tea at the Braxted Bakery. It was so lovely, the table was set out with roses a heart balloon and some love heart sweets. The food was smashing we will definitely be going back to sample some more of the menu. Thank you all for a lovely time xx

What an amazing afternoon tea at Braxted Bakery. The sandwich’s were delicious, warm cheese straws and mini prawn cocktails followed by scones, jam and clotted cream plus an excellent selection of cakes. We bought home a doggy bag as manage it all. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere-would 100% recommend.

5th Aug Myself & ladies from our dining & tea club treated ourselves to a most delicious afternoon tea. The food was delicious as always. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Pleasant atmosphere as always. I am a fairy regular visitor here for a Sunday breakfast/brunch. It's just such a lovely relaxing place to come to eat. A fabulous place to meet friends for coffee & cake, a cooked breakfast, pancakes, lunch too. Very cosy & staff are friendly.

I had a lovely cooked breakfast with a cup of tea and a beautiful coffee. Great value and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I even took home some of their delicious cake for later. Thoroughly recommend, a brilliant spot!

Both a brilliant find, and a little disappointing. The good: the most fantastic ' hobby gone mad' example of one man's efforts I've seen in Essex - a superb, 2foot scale ride on railway, complete with station, signals, sidings etc etc. Astounding, AND five minute rides are only £2. Great for smaller children and nostalgic older people. The disappointing: whilst the cafe looks very inviting, as does the food, the gluten free offer if you just want a cake with a coffee, was poor on my visit; only brownie or flapjack. Looks like the cooked breakfasts get a gf bread option, but didn't want or try one.
