Though was my first visit, it seemed like a nice pub with a friendly barmaid, Carla, behind the bar and just a handful of customers enjoying their afternoon out. Prices were reasonable.
The music is amazing, lovely family friendly atmosphere every day of the week. It's the bar "where everybody knows your name" (in a good way) you'll always have someone to talk to.

Great wee pub. Usually on a Friday or Saturday night there a band on in the lounge. So check and see who is playing..
The bar is well spacious plenty seating and has a games Hall at the back.
Though when I say games Hall it's a dart board and a pool table.
The pool table is£1 every game and for the love of God it's got One hell of a roll on it. And tight in places. I'd rather play it for 20p
The best music pub outside of Glasgow. The locals are the best "family" of friends you could ever meet. The best local music bands play every weekend. Fantastic atmosphere. Hands down Wishaws best pub. xxx

Can be a bit awkward to get about if you are slightly disabled due to the crowd and the position of the tables and chairs,which are quite high if you are vertically challenged, and it can be awkward to get to the toilets,apart from all that it's a great wee live venue and the staff are very friendly and helpful

Has been refurbished and still keeps the warm welcoming feeling when you spend any time in Girwoods, whether as a stopoff going into or coming back from Glasgow on the train.
