Lovely village pub in Billingshurst West Sussex. We stopped off part way through our journey to Petworth and we are so pleased we did. The pub has a rustic feel with heavy duty wooden tables and chairs, the atmosphere was relaxed and we received a warm welcome. At the back is a most beautiful garden

I had the steak and ale pie which was delicious. It appeared to be freshly baked so there was a bit of a wait, but it was worth it. My daughter had the steak burger which also looked great. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We will certainly come back if we are in the area.

Great pub, stopped in for a work lunch. I had the chicken burger and my mate had the beef burger, both were huge and pretty tasty. Price was reasonable as well. They are dog friendly, so plenty of happy well behaved mutts at the bar. Friendly helpful staff as well. What more can you ask for!

We had lunch with an old friend who lives nearby. We all had the whole sole fish of the day and it was cooked to perfection. Well done.
