Attended the 'Harry Potter High Tea Experience', which was absolutely amazing. I'm just gutted we do not live closer to enjoy this place more frequently.

Family friendly downstairs with a child play area and a toilet with a baby changing table.
Only niggles was the way the waitress brought the drinks on a tray that could have been cleaner and handled the cups - new member of staff possibly?
Fantastic service and lovely food! Highly recommended! The ice cream sundaes DO NOT DISSAPOINT. The standard size is massive and will come in a glass about the size of your head. Get the half size unless you're feeling rather naughty! Great textures and combos and they do not hold back on anything here. Lovely place and we ate here frequently, really sad to leave it behind now we've moved to a new area.
A really lovely little teashop with friendly staff. We visited today and wasn't disappointed. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and attentive and the food is excellent, home prepared and outstanding value for money. All 4 children loved it and so did Grandma!! I Would highly recommend to local residents and visitors to the town. And we will definately be visiting again. Thankyou Sweet Retreat for a lovely afternoon 😍
This gorgeous little place really is a sweet retreat.
The deserts are sinfully wonderful and copious, the prices are very reasonable and they also do a great salad or baked potato to eat in or take away. They do some brilliant kids and adult parties and the place has a lovely friendly intimate feel.

We would like to say a massive Thank You to the Sweet Retreat for helping us to make our daughters Birthday party so fantastic! We all had a brilliant time. The girls really enjoyed their tea party, all food and drinks were superb. Highly recommend to everyone and we will definitely be back again soon!

Good friendly staff, good selection of teas and coffee. We had an exceptional carrot cake . Quiet and peaceful a great way to spend 45 minutes.

Only had tea there so will have to go back to try other stuff by the place itself is cute, quirky with lovely tea and the people were friendly.
