My husband and I went for the Sunday dinner and I have to say it was the best Sunday dinner out I have ever had I can’t recommend the inn enough. A lovely family run Bar, Restaurant and B&B. the room I stayed for two days midweek in July, was clean and modern. Although the room was located above the restaurant facing the road, I could hear the A47 in the distance but this didn't disturb my sleep even with the windows open. The Breakfast was p
We booked a room on the internet and when we got there, we realised they had ground floor rooms which suited me better. Not a problem, changed us straight over. Me and my partner went for Sunday lunch , it was our first time and we wasn't disappointed, service was excellent, the lunch was outstanding ( very hot & very tasty ). The cauliflower cheese was the best we have had . The dessert's were delicious too , we will defiantely be returning.
Although we booked a table for four people they had tried to give us a table for two. I had to explain we were then put in the restaurant area with no one else there, causing a lack of atmosphere.
We ate at this lovely restaurant and were very pleasantly impressed. Service was very friendly and attentive. The inside was pretty with a lovely patio with tables out front. Great experience! Tasty Eaton Mess for dessert!
