We ate in and then had a takeaway a week or so later, both absolutely lovely.
Tasty food, different style than the usual curry, but in our opinion the best in the area.
Would definitely recommend the Mehmaan.
Also, Mongoose beer on tap!!

Brilliant food and service, flavour all the way and not hidden behind hot! And portions where good and not shy of the meat, can't recommend this enough, want to go again already !!
My first visit to this beautifully decorated restaurant tonight after being highly reccomended by friends, as soon as i walked in the atmosphere of being ivinted into what felt like someones home instead of a restaurant hit me, the place is gorgeous and the staff very atttentive without being in the way. After looking at the menu with are on scroll which is a beautiful touch the waiter offered the special poppudams of which me and my friend had one each (order the masala popudams) which tased like nothing i had ever had before so fragrant and full of flavour, the food just got better from there i wont go into what we eat but it was all amazing.
Strongly reccomend this place honestly its a fresh take for me on idian cusine showing us the true tastes of india again it was phenomenal 5*

Tonight was our first visit to Mehmaan, we hadn't booked but luckily were seated straight away. The waiter took our order and our drinks and food arrived soon after. The food was amazing, the best Indian food we have both eaten before. The service was faultless and we will definitely be visiting again soon and have already recommended to friends and family!
Some friends and I tried this restaurant for the first time last night and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of room between tables. The service from start to finish was excellent and the food was the best Indian food I've tasted. We will definitely be returning!
Went tonight after a recommendation...and am Soooooo glad we did! This place is amazing😍 The owner 'Prash' (apologies for spelling) was there and offered us a wonderful service. All the staff were fabulous...and the food....OMG.....OUT OF THIS WORLD! Can't wait to take all our friends there and won't be going anywhere else in a long time. Would we recommend?....without a shadow of doubt! The food was so fresh and you could tell everything was homemade....nothing frozen or pre-cooked! Loved it xx see you again soon xxx
Our first time to the Mehmaan, despite being less than a mile from home. Staff were polite and friendly, nothing too much trouble; the waiter even disappeared to get some natural yoghurt at one point to cool my 2 year old's palette. Will definitely return, food was authentic and everything delicious.
Popped in for a takeaway but decided to sit in, what a great decision. The food was prepared to our taste and cooked to our order, perfect. Our hosts were attentive, friendly and keen to tell us about their regional Indian cuisine. My only disappointment was being too full not to try a dessert (which all sound amazing) Next time we'll skip lunch so we're ready! Strongly recommend, thank you for serving the Fens.

Lovely food, great hospitality and at a good price. The menu is broad with a wide choice and the food is delicious and more authentic than a run of the mill Indian restaurant. Highly recommended.
This was our first time at this restaurant and we absolutely loved it. The staff are polite and friendly and the service efficient. I not a huge fan of hot and spicy but everything was so well cooked and flavoursome. The chicken makhani was to die for � Will certainly go back

Was going to go for a pub meal and saw this place - fantastic place food divine, people very friendly, nothing too much trouble, please go and see for yourselves you won't be disappointed - very nice restaurant and we will definitely be going back again :) xx

First time visit and was not disappointed, the menu is smaller than many Indian restaurants but we were still spoilt for choice, the food was served in good time and was very good. The staff were friendly and attentive but not overly so. All in all a really good dining experience

On recommendation of reviews we went here last night. Fabulous food! The naans were light and fluffy, sauces and dips with starters and poppadoms were really tasty. I had the Mysore chilli chicken main made a bit hotter by request and mushroom rice. Delicious! Definitely going back soon. Thanks so much guys!

If you like Indian Food this is a must! Really good traditional Indian cuisine that me and my family thoroughly enjoyed. Great staff that make you feel very welcome & helpful when ordering. Will definitely visit again.
We went here for the first time last night. What can I say, food is truly a taste of India where although spices are used you can still taste the food. Atmosphere is one where you feel at home straight away. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful but not pushy at all. We liked it so much we booked to return on Valentine's night. If you thought you liked Indian food you will love it here.
This restaurant is fantastic. I'm often in central London restaurants and didn't expect much but I was absolutely blown away! The service was timely and with a smile. Most importantly the food was impeccable. The atmosphere was great with the background music and smells just right. I haven't got a bad word to say. I will definitely be coming here again. Oh, and the aubergines - try them, delicious!
If you're looking for excellent Indian food then this is the place to visit when in the area! This is authentic Indian food, with amazing flavours. The service is very good and the staff are friendly.
There is parking on site which is handy as there isn't anywhere else to go while there, but the atmosphere is good inside so there is no need for other bars nearby. I have been back here many times and will be returning soon.
I was taken by my family for my birthday,17th December. The restaurant is lacking in ambiance but the FOOD and SERVICE.....WOW! I have Indian friends who have cooked for me and this restaurant truly cooks as they do. All dishes were explained and suggested sides were utterly delicious. They also served wonderful traditional puddings! I live 40 minutes drive away but am already planning my next visit. Please support this very different Indian restaurant by trying it for yourself.
OMG...what can I say....it was SO good! Loved it so much didn't want to leave but I was so full. Real Indian food with a real Indian atmosphere. The staff were simply lovely. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.. I will be back, definitely found my new eatery.

Proper authentic food. They don't have any dishes that aren't originally from India. So if you're looking for a vindaloo you're coming to the wrong place.
Everything on the menu is created exactly right.
Decor is lovely, as is the ambiance and service is impeccable.
Definitely worth the visit.
My wife , son and I went for the first time for early Mother's day treat. If you are looking for authentic Indian food look no further as you won't find it anywhere else in surrounding areas. The staff were pleasant and efficient. We will be back.

Went there just before Christmas and had a very good meal. They will adjust the spices to how you like it, so you can enjoy the meal without burning your mouth.
Great food, attentive staff, good prices. We went after a friend recommended this place. We were not disappointed. The lamb rogan josh was to die for, as was the Mongoose draught beer. Definitely be back.
Food was really nice but service let it down, table next to us actually walked out after asking numerous to take food order they never came and to top it off they advertise that they are part of the government 50% scheme then charged us full price and reluctantly took it off after they were challenged .
Very tasty food and great service. Nice to see a different menu to your standard Indian. Excellent value for money and a nice setting.
