Popped in for a quick drink after the firework display. Incredibly family friendly and extremely reasonably priced. Even my husband who is very quick to complain about how expensive something is commented on how well priced it is after leaving. Fabulous village pub and well worth a visit.
We tried the breakfast at the wheel inn and it was delicious. Excellent service and so welcoming. Will try again, when in the area.
Had a build your own Calvary. Tempting options, though a little disappointing on arrival and almost cold. The roast meats themselves were rather nice though, as was the nut roast. Staff were really friendly. Good space out the back for kids and dogs
Five of us had a meal last Sunday and although it is a carvery you had your own individual menu's which you gave to the waitress and were served at the table, so no queueing The staff were all frienly the food was delicious, nothing was left on our plates. Excellent value for money. Will go again an

The food was amazing, the beef was so tender, the potatoes were nice and crunchy, all the veg was cooked to perfection, Yorkshire puds and lovely lashings of thick gravy. 👍

Booked in for a carvery today at lunchtime and food was amazing. Service was fast and all staff very welcoming to New faces. Will be visiting again soon but highly recommend 😊
