Visited Taj Brasserie on a Friday night. The staff and service were excellent.
The food was also extremely tasty. Each dish had it’s own mix of flavours.
I would definitely recommend.
Having korma and some nan bread was for me the best combination.
Very good comfortable restaurant. The food was tasty and served in a good time. It could have been warmer but there was a large group of us.
Chutney tray was good with a good selection of dips.
The restaurant is well presented with attractive looking bench seating. The staff were very attentive.

Enjoyed a meal here (2 couples) in June 2023. We reserved a table for 7.30pm on a Friday night and were greeted quickly and shown to our table in the centre of the bustling restaurant. Quickly offered drinks (most of the beer and cider options from the menu were not available) and poppadoms. We ordered 4 main courses (all chef’s specialties), 4 rice and 3 naan breads. Service was quick and efficient (perhaps too intrusive a few times) but the food was hot, fresh and very good. Bill came to £125 with 2 drinks each - so not the cheapest/best value ever. Food was good though and we had a nice evening.
Driven past this place for years, finally decided to book for a table of 8. Great food and service, everyone enjoyed their meals. Would recommend and will be going back.
So I’m just moved to Winterbourne and thought I’d try a takeaway. One of the best curries I’ve had and a very reasonable price for a large portion. Recommended!! Didn’t sit in but it looks really nice inside :)
Excellent meal here on Tuesday for my daughters birthday. Waiters were very attentive but not over the top, food was delicious and they even put on special music to bring out the cake (to my daughters embarrassment lol) and gave her a wee gift and card! The Tuesday banquet deal (which we didn't realise was on) was really good value for money, had plenty left over for my lunch the next day.
My oldest daughter wants to go for her birthday too now. See you soon :)
We have wanted to try this place for so long.. 2 years long!! But because of dieting, we havent, but, we decided to be a bit naughty and just go.. Best Indian restaurant we've been to. The place itself is beautiful, the staff are polite, friendly, can't do enough for you, then, there's the food.. OMG.. I normally stick to a madras or something but I opted for a totally different dish, as did my Husband, and we absolutely loved it. Stunning!
The food is excellent, and the kitchen very flexible to individual requirements. Good service. Have been coming weekly for 10 years.
We popped in without booking and had the most amazing meal. The food, service and ambiance was fantastic and as 1st time visitors we will definitely return. I would recommend this restaurant to all looking for a quality meal out
Good food friendly atmosphere very attentive staff well worth a visit.
Great food and a nice place but the staff were almost too attentive. Almost felt like we were being pushed through the meal. A couple of time staff coming to clear the table before we had finished. Minor gripe on an overall reasonable experience though.
The food is authentically Indian and can't be beaten. The nan bread is exquisite, I couldn't stop eating it. The service is calm and friendly. We didn't reserve a table. It's a big place (converted pub) with lots of room. Lots of parking space too.
