Friendly service and space out the back to leave our bikes. A very nice bacon butty and a lovely bit of cake to keep us fuelled before the next leg of our cycling journey!

Our first visit since the new ownership to this excellent local tea/coffee shop with an appetizing choice of hot & cold food; tempting cakes as well! All hot food is freshly prepared and our toasted sandwich (brie, bacon & cranberry) was very tasty and well filled. Definitely will be returning

Rooneys provided outside catering of a fantastic finger buffet for 50 guests at a funeral for us. Derek was so easy to talk to and brilliant at suggesting and advising. His experience and expertise were evident and we felt very happy to leave everything in his capable hands. The result was a wide, interesting and inviting range of savouries and cakes. Everything was excellent quality and really tasty. People enjoyed it and commented on such a lovely lunch. Derek took on all the liaison and arrangements with our venue. We were able to leave it all to him and it was lovely not to have to worry. The presentation was very attractive and we felt it was good value for money. We have also visited the tea shop for lunch on a couple of occasions. Always delicious and excellent quality.

Out for drive today and came across this little eatery. We had 2 panini's, which were seeded (lovely surprise), chips and drink. Lovely bite to eat and staff very friendly. Will eat here again.

Regular stop on cycling trips and if I p passing through Winslow with my wife in the car. Nice atmosphere with good coffee. Garden out back and this is the best way to access the cafe if you arrive by bike or car. Public car park or the best.

Lovely little tea room with very homely decoration. I would have had a sandwich and slice of the lovely cakes they have there but with a coffee that would have cost me around £12 I decided to give it a miss and just have a coffee. Baring in mind that I can get a 3 course meal and a glass of wine at my favourite restaurant for £15, thought it was a bit over the top

Really great experience food wise. Be prepared to wait because every order is freshly prepared to your exact requirements but worth it for the quality. This place has a rear garden should you want to eat out and has an rear entrance from the public car that is behind this parade of shops. Give it a try next time your in Winslow.

Forget the multi-national coffee-houses which now dominate our High Streets. If you're looking for a more relaxed atmosphere with a family-run business with staff who genuinely care - rather than because they've been corporately brainwashed, then this is the place for you. I've been twice now, each time for over an hour whilst my my wife has been in the nearby hairdressers; and having drunk my latte and eaten my slice of their excellent home-made fruit cake, I've sat there with an empty latte-glass and plate with no one hassling me to vacate my table or buy another coffee. On the last occasion my wife joined me and we both had an excellent snack-lunch there. And there's even a rear entrance, direct off Winslow's main car park. (A free car park! - with no time restrictions!) The food is great, the staff friendly, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. I just wish my wife was 'higher-maintenance' - so I could justify visiting Rooney's more often!

Been to Rooneys every summer for 4 years. Went this week: the food was exemplary and excellent value; service good too. A wonderful treasure of a tea room.

On a wet dreary day a tea and coffee plus toasted tea cakes was most welcome served by very pleasant staff who went out of their way to make sure we had drinks whilst the coffee machine was being serviced. Nice atmosphere
