Popped in for a meal and wasn’t sure what it would be like. Absolutely delicious pie and chips! One of the best pies I have had in a pub. Friendly staff too.
My wife and I popped in for some food and genuinely had the nicest chicken Caesar salad I’ve ever eaten. Great portion size, all the trimmings with some lovely crispy chips on the side. The service was amazing as always in there and we had a fantastic evening at the best pub in Chew Valley. Thanks s
Had a pie here that verged on a religious experience. Great food, plenty of local colour and welcoming staff. Best pub in the area. Didn't stay so can't comment on the rooms but I'd bet cash money that they are high quality.
The food is good, and the staff are all superb, nothing is too much for them.
They were brilliant in helping with an unacceptable problem at the old farmhouse band - a place that is best avoided.
Just stopped off for some afternoon tea whilst passing on a long walk. Tea was good although sadly they didn't sell any cakes to go with. Sat outside at the front - very busy for a Friday afternoon. Near the speaker and the music was terrible! Noted a very good cider selection though...
Had a quick meal as flying from Bristol, really lovely atmosphere,great food and drink..a real gem country pub
What a nice pub and the areoplanes going right over the top of the outdoor space taking off from Bristol airport is amazing very much enjoyed this place and the staff are so nice too...

I started using pubs at the age of 14. In my 20’s I managed pubs. In my 30’s I worked for Jack Daniels and visited 12 plus pubs a day.
But I must say:-
The Prince of Waterloo Winford, has the cleanest, freshest and nicest gents toilets I’ve every seen / used.

Food was excellent, just what I needed after a long busy day. Staff very friendly and helpful. I sat outside and enjoyed an early summer evening. Very satisfied!
Just want to say a massive thank you to your team for helping me and my 1 1/2 year old when she fell over, she’s absolutely fine now and she’s back to herself but if it wasn’t for the girl with blonde hair who was so kind and helpful I’m not sure what I would’ve done. You guys are the best 😊
