I agree with other reviews, the octopus was beautifully cooked but not sure it went with the paprika creamed potato and cold beetroot salad that tasted and looked like it was from Waitrose.....
Absolutely incredible food! Can't wait to go back here! We thought we'd just try it out for date night and we were not disappointed! I want to go back and try everything! And the staff were lovely and funny too! All in all a great visit!
Stunning food in amazing setting served by a talented group of chefs working in an interesting open kitchen. Long awaited arrival of Plate at No. 6 following their extensive restoration work of this wonderful building. Standard of cooking and food truly exceptional, with the quality of the produce enhanced by the skill of the kitchen team. Food, drinks and service of this quality are much needed in Windsor...wishing the team there every success for the future and looking forward to going back soon!
The staff are very good, friendly and attentive. Vegetarian and vegan menù are tasty and well served. The location is new, cozy with a vibe reminiscent of London. The visible open kitchen is a plus to spot the busy chefs. Prices are fair. Definitely recommend.
This is an absolutely fantastic welcome addition to Windsor. Great location, ambience, food and exceptional service. The maitre dee is on another level of professionalism and attentiveness to the customers. I can't recommend this restaurant enough to visit when in Windsor. I hope they get the success they deserve. An excellent place to dine.

Came upon Plate at No6 by chance. What a lovely little restaurant. Great choice of dishes. The Tapas Trio at £16 is great value plus a free glass of Sangria which we upgraded to a jug! Highly recommend!
Amazing food, cocktails and wine in a lovely setting in the cobbled streets by the castle.
Tapas style, excellent quality food. Would highly recommend the bruschetta, veal tortellini and the pumpkin risotto.
We will definitely be coming back.
Our best dining experience in England! The key to their great food was fresh ingredients that were prepared in a simple yet creative way. We felt very welcome from our first step in the door until we left. Highlights were the sirloin steak, prepared perfectly and the deconstructed cannoli dessert, simply wonderful!
We visited the restaurant on a Sunday for lunch and the whole experience was 10/10. From the restaurant's beautiful interior and great location, the owner/server's great explanation of the menu and dishes, the interaction with the chef, the absolutely delicious food and superb wine - everything was truly faultless. We will certainly be visiting again!
Really loved our meal here, a warm and genuine welcome and brilliant attention from the staff. Our meal was divine excellent flavours and cooked to perfection you could tell there was a real pride in their food. Just sorry we were onky visiting Windsor but we will definitely be back!
Fantastic night with wonderful food and wine topped off with really excellent service. The proprietor was amazingly welcoming and the chef was on top form. We were a party of 9 and everything ran perfectly.

The food was a pleasent surprise. It's really something you won't find everywhere. Stuff was also extremely friendly. We were soaking wet from sudden rain and were very grateful to get hot coffee and a nice meal to warm up again and not being fronwed when we tried to get our cloth a little bit dryer.
Great service and food! We came on a Thursday night for our first time and the server was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered 2 bite size meals and 2 mains between the two of us. The portion sizes were perfect and worth the price, the Veal tortellini was our favourite. We had been walking around Windsor all day eating here and there so we weren’t able to finish all of our food, but the server was happy to pack it up for us to take home. We will be back again!
Can't describe how good this place is! Great interior for starters. Great service without being overbearing. And then we get to the food. All 4 of us, 2 of whom are proper foodie snobs, love, love, loved it. From cocktails to each course we were in heaven. Had the joy of being able to watch the chef team look for each tables reaction to their food and you see how invested they were. Honestly top notch from start to finish.
Lovely experience at the small, new restaurant in Windsor. I was recommended to this fine dining establishment by some friends, and my wife and I had to go and see for ourselves. Chefs were very passionate about their cooking and dishes were well thought out, staff were welcoming and despite the waitress being quite young, she served with experience and a smile. The ambience was beautiful and I'm looking forward to returning. Quite pricey but definitely worth it
