This is a great Thai restaurant and right around the corner from Windsor Castle. I had the "Salt & Pepper Squid", along with the "Panang Curry Lamb Shank" (which was amazing). Both the food and the service was excellent. There was a 10 percent "discretionary" service charge added to the bill.
A great little restaurant in Windsor, right next to the Windsor Castle. Food was superb, we ordered from the set menu with a couple of extras . I had weeping tiger (beef steak) and my partner had the fried tilapia which was definitely the better choice. Papaya salad was a great side dish to add, giving a nice balance to the flavours. A very nice restaurant, however, a bit pricey. £100 for 2 people lunch is a but more than I was expecting. I would eat here again despite the price.
Food very delicious .Staffs very friendly. The Best Thai restaurant in Windsor . I love papaya salad very much very tasty . Highly recommend !!!
We keep visiting this place at least once a month and if you fancy Thai food, this is one of the best places to be. The Ambience is really nice and great hospitality from the staff. I prefer to always start with a Tom yum soup and papaya salad. It’s a must try 👌👌. All the starters like chicken satay, fried prawns, squid, corn cakes, tempura are very delicious and tasty. The service is quick and pretty good portions for the starters. You have a lot of options for the main course from pad Thai to Thai green curry with rice. I really enjoy the food at Thai Square Windsor. Highly recommended 👌⭐️
Good food, good portions right in the centre of Windsor. Close to the Castle and all the shops and the High Street. It is a bit expensive, especially because it is Asian and in an expensive location. Our dishes were spicy which we really liked, I'd say I recommend it
First time visiting Thai Square. Thought we’d try somewhere different as we usually go to Giggling Squid. The food was nice, service could have been a bit better - more attentive. Overall a pleasant experience and would visit again.
Food is Delicious!! Service is great, we love this place!
Really love this place. Great food, great decor and friendly staff. Right next door to Windsor Castle as well.
Food is good! Location is right across the castle.
The food was fine and cooked well and large prawns. My greatest compliment is that it was a great restaurant for our very large family get together with 8 kids and uncles and cousins etc. as the space was large and the service was welcoming without making you feel bad for noisy kids! Thank you for being perfect for what we needed after a long walk and no booking in place at a busy time of 530pm dinner on a Sunday!
Standout was the corn cakes. Veggie spring rolls, tofu satay, drunken noodles and green curry were all good.
The food was incredibly delicious and fresh, with a lot of flavour. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better. Moreover, the restaurant decor was simply beautiful, adding to the overall charm of the place. I can't wait to return for another tasty and enjoyable meal.
The food is not bad but in terms of the price it’s average. I ordered squid and butterfly prawns as a starter and they are tasty. I would give 4 out of 5 after tried a few thai restaurants. Mixed vegetables is not particularly good but ok. I like Pad thai noodles most. In the end there is a 10% service fee which is a bit high. Overall, a nice dining experience.
I finally went into this place after walking by so many times and I'm very happy with the decor as it's quite stunning and the food is also alright. It's not worthy of a 5 star because of some minor issues. To start with their mint tea is blend and expensive, their vegetarian starter platter is tasty but basically a fry up that's not even remotely Thai and then overall the prices are a bit exaggerated as you can find the same quality Thai food in a lot of other places in Windsor.
Was here last night for dinner with family. Nice looking restaurant, ambience is good. Our waiter was very patient and kind. We definitely enjoyed the food, as well as the drinks. Chang Beer went down smooth as did the G&Ts. We ordered the Coconut & Mushroom soup, which my wife loved, Vegetable Spring Rolls which were delicious. The Squid was flavourful and the Ribs were juicy. The Chicken Stir Fry was not that great.
For mains we ordered a Vegetable Jungle Curry, which was okay but I prefer the one at Giggling Squid. The Drunken Duck however was delicious, and the Prawn Pad Thai was very authentic.
Our first choice for Thai Food is Giggling Squid but we did enjoy it here too.
Great restaurant at a fab location. The staff was very friendly and the food arrived very quickly.
Both the starters and mains was delicious. They also have set menus, so can do 2 or 3 course option
