Came here after touring the beautiful castle. Staff was very friendly. Our server was attentive and the food came out very quick. My carbonara was truffle and so very good. She had the seafood carbonara and finished the plate. The kid had her usual plain pasta. Can’t mess that up too much. We also had a margarita pizza. I forgot in real Italian places that just is a fancy word for cheese pizza. Not the basil and whole tomato with globs of mozzarella we get in the states. It was a tad soggy middle but still tasty. They had these crunchy fried pasta snacks which were good too. All in all not bad for an Italian place in the middle of England. 😁
I thought the portion size on the main entree was on the smaller size. But I'm used to America where the portion sizes are huge. Maybe that's why we're all getting fat. Pretty decent food. Good atmosphere. Fantastic location right across the street from Windsor.
Easy to find location once enter windsor....just opposite the castle. The menu has a range of veg, non veg and gluten free catering essentially for all. Reasonably priced. Portion sizes are decent. Wood fire pizza is delightful in taste. Atmosphere was good. Windsor has double level seating zones meaning plenty of space. Also ordered a flat white which was Luke warm...the only disappointing part of the menu. Parking in Windsor is a total nightmare and extortionate. Unfortunately took no pics of pizza but was ready for dessert.
1. Spag Bol was nice but a bit plain.
2. Sweet potatoe fries were crispy and good.
3. Nice and calm for a weekday lunch. Hardly anyone there so nice and peaceful.
4. Have to park at one of the carparks around Windsor. Good choice.
5. Perfect and friendly customer service from their top staff.
Great success
Enjoyed my meal - pork belly with roast potatoes & vegetables. Great service & attentive waiter - nice day out with the family
Fresh pizza that I ever eat. Awesome services and fare price. I do recommend this place
A big thank you to the staff at Zizzi Windsor for looking after us last night when they were super busy. We had a 7.30pm booking where the table we were offered (in the basement room) really wasnt for us due to steep steps (we had an older relative with us). So, after a few minutes wait the staff were able to rejig a couple of table and give us a nice window table. The usual amazing food too. We've been coming here for years when we visit the area and we will continue to do so. Thank you all.
We visited as a family group of four adults and four young children on 25/9. The manager was so kind, patient and helpful. We were served promptly, the food was great and hot, and he brought everything we asked for straight away . Such a help with young kids.
Overall it was a great food experience with good service. Reasonably priced 3 course set menu with lots of options as well as a larger full menu. Some well made cocktails and varied wine menu. Would recommend stopping in.
Great location within Windsor near the castle and train station.
They were busy, but they found us a table. The food was good, but there only seemed to be 1 person taking orders and delivering food although there were other staff, not sure what they were doing.
Popped in for some lunch, very friendly staff, food was fantastic, extremely well presented fast service, very tasty dishes. Will definitely recommend this very nicely run local restaurant.
Last Friday, my partner and I decided to eat at Zizzi’s as we were staying in a nearby hotel. We ordered the calamari and bruschetta for starters, and to say the least, the calamari was very chewy and ‘stringy’. We then ordered one of the fresh pasta dishes and a calzone. The calzone was very soggy, and definitely not worth it! Although the food wasn’t great, we couldn’t fault the staff. Emma, I believe was our waitress and she was exceptional! She was the highlight of the meal and definitely deserves some sort of bonus!!!
Thank you Emma for being amazing🥰
