Had the opportunity to celebrate our anniversary at Windsor Grill. Both the food and service was excellent. The steaks were perfectly cooked, much better than steaks we had earlier in the week in central London, at a very reasonable price with lots of options for sides. Cocktails were great and well executed. We tried both the Eton mess and Peach Melba for dessert and enjoyed both. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a steak dinner.
Quailty food and an amazing service, this place should be on everyone’s list of restaurants to visit in Windsor. Both the filet and ribeye were the best I’ve tasted in a long time and the sides were great too, especially the bacon greens, amazing. We will be back. 👍
My husband and I were very impressed with how great the food tasted! I ordered the duck this time but can't wait to come back for a steak. The staff were friendly and attentive. Loved the warm and relaxed atmosphere. All in all a superb evening.
Top restaurant in Windsor by miles... Fantastic food, fantastic staff and fantastic wine, any time and any day of the week.

My husband and I were here on Saturday. The waitress got wind that it was our 1st wedding anniversary and when our desert came we couldn't believe it. The candle was a perfect touch and so was the champagne cocktail each. The food was the best I've had and the service second to none. Can't wait to re visit. A must for anyone in the area
I read several positive reviews and decided to give a try, with pretty high expectations. Always risky to try a place with high expectations, quite easy to be disappointed. But Windsor Grill experience was really outstanding. Very nice quality meat, perfectly cooked and great service. Well done to this small but very high quality restaurant

Lovely food and service. We had booked the private dining room upstairs which provided a great setting for a fun evening of good food, wine, chat and laughter for our party of 8!

Best meal we have had out in ages. Went for the early dinner set menu which was great value at £20 for two courses. The steak was amazing (rump can be tough but this was like butter). Dessert, poached peach, was outstanding. We were particularly impressed with the service which was warm, friendly and very attentive. Couldn't have asked for more.
The sort of menu you read and really can’t choose because you’d like it all! We’ve had many a great evening here with top class service and delicious, well presented food. A great Windsor restaurant well located on St Leonard’s road, 5 mins from the castle.
There’s also a bookable private dining area upstairs. One of our favourites in Windsor.
Fantastically well done. Excellent, friendly service. All dishes were really well done, nothing over the top, but great execution. We actually preferred it to Hawksmoor. Really quite unexpected, but highly recommended. Great staff too. You should try it.

So a birthday dinner.
We booked for 7pm, arrived 10 minutes early. We were sat at table quickly and asked about a drink order. That was dealt with menu's given, then we sat for around 15-20 minutes until our order was taken. I ordered the salted squid ,it was ok ish. Little over cooked and chewy ,little bland. My wife and daughter had fairly good starters. The plates taken quickly after we finished. Then mains came out , I had 16oz rump with mashed potatoes and some mushrooms and greens on the side. The steak was very nice cooked well, the mash was ok ish, veg was all good. My wife and daughter had the fillet steak, this was cooked ok, the Medium Rare was more Blue, but my wife liked it. She had the triple cooked chips ( very nice ) my daughter the fries (not bad). We finished our meal and were offered desserts. My wife and daughter had Eton mess with a Windsor twist... this wasn't great, apparently tasted artificially sweet . I had a single scoop of vanilla icecream. They charged the three scoop price only £3.. but it's the principle of it. So we had 3 starters, 3 mains, two sides. And one and a half desserts. All for just over £180... Will we go back. Probably not, far to many others to try and it wasn't amazing.
Amazing good quality juicy steaks that were cooked to perfection. The chateaubriand was exceptional for the price. Good selection of sides and plenty of sauces! Nice relaxed atmosphere, with really friendly staff. Highly recommended!
Food was really good, steak was cook to perfection, snails were yummy. Would prefer a thicker bread to soak the garlic oil tho! Our first time here and we went on a Valentine. Definitely another good choice around Windsor if craving steak besides Meat at The Parish.

Went for dinner here on 03/06 as we were in Windsor celebrating the Platinum Jubilee. What a wonderful cosy restaurant! They have small areas in the restaurant so it feels more intimate rather than it being a loud open space. The food was wonderfully cooked and the staff seemed very friendly and attentive.
