Fantastically busy, almost without fail; drinkers pub as they do not do food, but always friendly and often have sports on. Usual range of lagers and ales and service usually quick and always friendly, it has quite recently become a Craft Union Pub so will be interesting to see what the future holds for this popular Windermere pub.

Called in with my little dog. So friendly. My dog was given some biscuits. It was warm and cosey the football was on. We were drenched from the rain bit soon dried off after 3 pints of strongbow and chats with local resident

Happy to find two real ales from Bowness Bay brewery. Had a good pint of Raven Red. TV's everwhere with the World Cup on. Many reserved for tonight when England play. Some outdoor patio seating. I remember a very hot summer's day sat there. Also courtyard seating and smoking area to rear past the toilets.

Nice pub with outside seating. Bar has plenty of choice with gin and beer. The bar sell food upstairs but we had already ate so I can't comment on the food except what I saw looked ok. There was a singer/guitarist playing rock music which was great and ended up staying longer than planned. Toilets were clean enough and the bar staff friendly.

Great friendly place to visit. A bit too rowdy when there is football on tv Good range of beers and a excellent price and service

Very nice pub. Friendly staff and had a lovely pint of Fell Walker. Was in there to watch the football and plenty of screens and seats but also people just in there for a drink.

Food: pretty good. I love the gammon. The vegetable curry has a sour favor. 12oz burger is not bad Service: Not good. You need to walk to the counter to order. Line up like a group of pupil Price: fair price: ££-£££ We got food served in 20mins Has a tv on wall

We popped In for a quick drink while out for a walk about. The staff were great and jolly. The place had a good buzz about it with the football and other sports showing on the big tv's. The little beer garden at the front is a nice touch as we sat having our drinks enjoying a spot of people watching on the busy streets. We will be back again soon.

Me and my partner came mid week to have a few chill drinks and to watch the football. We had our two dogs with us and the staff were super friendly and accommodating with them. So nice, we ended up going back a few more times during our trip We got speaking to the owners who gave us some tips and advice on places to visit whilst we were there and dog friendly things to do. We were going to go back in on the weekend but it was just a bit too busy for us whilst we had the dogs. All in all, all around great pub and can't wait to visit again.
