Nice place just next to the station. I sat there as I was more than hour early for my train! I had a regular cappucino for £3.40. Staff were polite & friendly. Nice seating.

It's expensive and the fruit and veg can be a bit old but great choice of items, especially if you're cooking something special. Coffee bar is nice - often very busy - and the staff in there could do with smiling a bit more. The staff in the actual shop are great.

I prefer to review real ale pubs, restaurants and hotels. Booths is the only supermarket chain that I actually like to visit. They seem to stock a vast array of intetesting items in relatively small spaces. This Booths is no exception. Easy parking right next to the railway station. Great place to stock up for a train journey. Christmas selections always good. Staff seem happy working for them. Wish there was one near me. Booth Bear loved this visit.

I dont have a Booths Supermarket near me in Bolton, so whenever I come to the lakes I always go for my shopping. Lovely food. I usually bring an Extra tasty chicken home with me 😄

Booths is a lesser-known Northern supermarket chain. If you come to Cumbria and want some high quality, interesting supplies for your rented cottage, Booths is for you. Lots of appealing local produce, well displayed. You can get a loyalty card too, but only an old fashioned physical one. I’d hoped to register and put it straight into my Apple wallet but you can’t do that - at least not yet. But this is the place to get a pleasant shopping experience and the good stuff.

A bit nicer than a trose and a bit more fun too! Fire engines showed up and cleared all the shoppers out. It was just a false alarm but really good they take safety of their customers seriously 👍

Nice food and drinks that were available to eat for lunch as the delivery truck was unable to supply the cafe's food. At least the staff were polite about it. Good prices but not the biggest serves. P.S. Best hot chocolate from my entire overseas trip.

Lovely friendly clean store. The shelves are well presented and the staff are all helpful. My only criticism is that the store could do with being a bit warmer for my liking

Fantastic store with lots of treats for your stay in the lakes, 2 hours of free parking and fast charging to boot make this a must stop off. Enjoy a coffee and snack in their cafe too.

Lovely shop! Good quality foods to choose from alongside big name brands! Having the choice of locally grown/made foods is really nice to try while on holiday. I wish there were booths where I live!

Big, bright, spacious high quality store with a full range of goods including organic and local. A big deli counter is lovely to see. Lots of pastries there as well as local meats, cheeses and produce like local beer and unusual lesser brands too including wholefoods. There was a juicer too where you can juice your own oranges. A good number of fresh vegetables and fruits, and I liked the range of organic canned beans and such like. There's a nice big cafe - closed when I was there but it looked nice, and there are toilets. The staff were very very friendly and helpful. I would like Booths to go further still and reduce their plastic wrapping useage even more and have more organic foods and wholefoods. It was good to see 'Ecover' could be bought 'on tap' but really this is a drop-in-the-ocean in the effort to reduce our reliance on plastics: British supermarkets really do need to step up and have these dispensers for all grains, flours, nuts, dry fruit, muesli etc as they do on the continent. This is the only reason I put 4*s rather than 5....and I compare it to the wonderful European supermarkets where it would look fairly mediocre whereas as a UK supermarket it's definitely a cut above and comparable to the likes of Waitrose etc.

Wonderful shopping experience. Found lots of interesting goods that I don’t find in typical supermarkets, especially local produce. Also very accessible due to its proximity to the town centre.

There's a lot of choice at booths Windermere, it can get busy but there are alot of manned tills and some self service so not a long wait you can also pay at cigarette till if need. The shop assistants are all very helpful. Grants stewing steak in a tin makes fantastic pies and pasties, Opies sliced lemons in a jar are great with Harvey's sherry and lemonade and ice.
