Beautiful afternoon tea with friends on Sunday 4thJune for a birthday treat. The tea was presented on local slate and looked lovely which it was. Our waitress could not do enough for us and kindly packed our leftovers for us to take home. Would recommend and shall be back.

The bubble and squeak I had for lunch was amazing and the breakfast the next day was delicious as always. Staff are friendly and the service is great

Been here a few times recently - always enjoy the food, the variety and the price I believe is good value for money BUT even though I like dogs I do not understand why there is a need or necessity for them to be in the restaurant/cafe area. I would fully understand if they were assistance dogs but these dogs, on our last visits, were not. Owners of dogs should be encouraged by staff to be in one particular area and that when a dog barks or "sounds" at customers walking past then this should be addressed.

Popped in today on my way to the railway station. Both the cheese and chive and fruit with jam and cream were fabulous as was coffee, so fresh. Staff and service were very good, loved the airy atmosphere and lift access. Would deffo recommend 😁x

Although I enjoy visiting this cafe as it is very local to me & a good place to meet my friends, I'm sad to say this is one where I give the thumbs down for the tea. Not to my taste at all. I also wish there was a choice of sizes of drinks. The staff are very friendly & usually cheerful & the cakes look appetising. I can't comment on the food because I've not had a meal here for quite some time. There is plenty of free parking so that's a bonus but it is also very near the public transport hub so can also come by train or bus.

I had ham salad sandwich, which was a large sandwich, however the ham used was parma ham which was unpleasant used this way. My husband had egg mayonnaise sandwich and chips (these were the thin small type) which he said he enjoyed. He took a cake home for later due to the portion size, again he said that he really enjoyed this. All OK meal, I just will choose another sandwich type next time. Staff very friendly and relatively quick service.

We had roasted beetroot and goats cheese salad, it was very tasty and fresh. Followed by carrot and walnut cake and Victoria sponge, both very nice. Staff nice, friendly. Quiet atmosphere. Worth a visit

Cafe befitting the Flagship Lakeland store. Top quality, delicious breakfast/light lunch options. Not to forget the freshly baked assortment of cakes and scones. The staff is efficient and the food service is quick. Ample seating space and all by the glass facade of the building so awash with light. Toilets are well maintained and clean

Good shop.we were going to have coffee and cake but cafe was full & it was a 25 minute waiting. We were happy to sit at a small table but no one come for our orders. So decided to leave. More staff needed upstairs I think.

It's busy on a Saturday but the gave us a buzzer for a 20minute wait. The staff are very efficient and the food comes quickly. There are screens between tables and tables are wiped down between customers. It is upstairs but there is a small lift. The food was delicious and I had a Guiche Lorraine and my wife had Cauliflower Cheeses soup which looked very creamy, with white bloomer bread. My earl grey came with a tea strainer, and extra hot water. Something you usually have to ask for. My wife was offered a free glass of tap water. The service is very good and the food tasty. The salad came with a balsamic style dressing. We would come here today. There is a view but on a day like today not so good. We will come again.
