I had a quick lunch here whilst passing through Windermere. The food was tasty, the staff friendly and helpful and the overall atmosphere just what I wanted (local maps and artwork on the walls, David Bowie playing on the turntable).
The staff are very hospitable and very welcoming. I loved the wall decorations and the setting of the cafe. I enjoyed my full English breakfast and cappuccino.

Excellent food and good atmosphere. Was reading the few negative reviews on here and they must be talking about a diferent place. The owners responses to those blatantly false bad reviews made me laugh. If we are ever in Windermere again we will definately be back.

A group of 10 female friends came for our BOOKED lunch on the Friday afternoon at the start of our three night stay in Windermere. We were seated altogether in a lovely room just off from the main restaurant. The food and service was excellent. We all said we would definitely return.
Staff here were extremely welcoming and friendly. Came for breakfast and was not disappointed! Food was superb.
Pretty good and what makes it is where it sits, lovely location. Wherever you go in this excellent place is stunning BUT it's very expensive. If you're here for long walks then I'd load up on packed lunches and a few bottles of beer 🍻
