If you want delicious food, you won't be disappointed. Service was friendly and relatively quick. It was much too noisy, though, and the volume of the music was such that people would need to talk louder to be heard. Given a choice of only a one and a half hour slot instead of two was also pressuring, especially with our main meal arriving half hour before we were meant to leave. No time for dessert at the end.

First time at a Giggling Squid, I was not disappointed the food was insanely delicious. We as a family had a variety of dishes and they were all of good quality and authenticity to Thai cuisine. The atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant is made to feel warm, friendly and comfortable. Great service, amazing food, I definitely recommend and I will be coming back.

Ate here this evening, empty as still early around 5pm. Staff were lovely and friendly and service was quick. We had the prawn crackers and prawn spring rolls to start and then a chicken pad Thai and a Thai green curry. The pad Thai had some sort of scrambled egg slices in it, or tofu? I don't know, but it was a bit weird. The Samui Colada was good too. Otherwise good food and service.

Delicious Appetizers ~ Refreshing Cocktails We had a great lunch at the giggling squid. We started with the zingy prawns, turmeric squid and papaya salad. All were really good, though the salad came in some sort of tiki torch which was a bit much. We then had the duck red curry and shrimp + chicken pad Thai. These dishes were delicious! For drinks we had the mango mosquito and the matcha martini. Both were refreshing on a hot day. The service was a bit slow but overall the experience was fantastic. I would recommend coming to the giggling squid!

First time visiting a Giggling Squid restaurant and I can't wait to return. We didn't have a table booked and was able to be seated straight away before it filled up. Service was amazing and so was the food.

Absolutely lovely food but for my partner's dish the menu should recommend adding a side to it. A nice chilled environment to dine in. It's nice to be checked on by those working but I felt we were asked too many times and that is my only fault and thus a lower in stars. I would definitely visit near to my home town as this was my first visit whilst on holiday

We ordered samui prawns (very spicy!), prawn crackers, chicken satay (very peanutty - perfect sauce) and a bangkok sharer for 2 (the money bags seemed to be the same kind of thing as the duck spring rolls. The beef was amazing though). The food was lovely, the location was quaint and the service was good. Good value for money. Would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area and fancying Thai food.

We had a really lovely experience here. The quality of the food was great and there was so much to choose from! Definitely try the black sesame seed ice cream. Coffee was also excellent

Such delicious food! It was my first time trying giggling squid and we loved all of the things we ordered. The curries are delicious and so were the dumplings, squid and prawns. I'd definitely come again and try many different things šŸ˜†. The staff are also very friendly and can help recommend!

Booked for a large group of 24 people, Giggling Squid were very accommodating and had everything prepared for us. Our waitress (I canā€™t remember her name!! šŸ˜“) was extremely helpful and very patient with everyone. Would absolutely recommend! The food was brilliant, service was excellent and atmosphere was very welcoming. Iā€™ll be coming back and Iā€™m sure many others will too - thank you!

Dined here for lunch with a couple of friends, we had a lovely relaxing lunch with great food. The food is very authentic Thai and there is a great selection on offer. The drinks menu is extensive with some unusual Asian inspired gins that I hadnā€™t seen before. Rose was our waitress and she was excellent. Overall it was a 5āļøexperience.

Not very busy when we first arrived. Our Waiter was very good. Meals were pre - ordered at the time of booking a table. Quick service. Food was very good. This was our first visit. Former Slug and Lettuce premises

We love Thai food and have visited quite a few Thai restaurants so were really looking forward to this one. The menu seemed a bit lacking and didn't feel like it had many of the typical Thai meals. Always nice for a change but there wasn't much that appealed which is more a personal thing than the restaurants fault I guess. Food and drink was ok. Service could have been better but overall the experience was acceptable, just not one I'd choose again.

What a delightful restaurant experience! We went on a weekday towards the end of January when it was very quiet. It was great from start to finish, we were served quickly and got our food quickly. The real stand out of the night was (as youā€™d expect!) the delicious food. It tasted like totally authentic Thai inspired food, and was very tasty. So tasty, in fact, that I am going to return for my birthday meal later down the line. New favourite restaurant! Thank you, team.

I've been here twice for lunch. The first time, the service was somewhat lacklustre but the food delicious. The second time, the service was excellent and the food almost as good as the previous time. The spring rolls are wonderful, as is the cashew stir fry. The vegetable pad thai was good, but there was a distinct lack of vegetables. The caramelised mango cake was light, aromatic and yummy. The restaurant is spacious and pretty with outdoor seating at the front. We had a very nice meal and our waitress was great.

It would have been 5* but for the Pad Thai lacking a bit of extra "zing". It was nice, but the other dishes were very good. The massaman curry was excellent, as were the sticky wings!

The food was lovely. And the staff were very friendly. A small issue was down to gaps on the menu. We were only advised of them when we ordered, rather than when we were sat down. Plus it did take a bit too long to get our initial drinks. However they are only small things. Our food and cocktails were fantastic and we would not hesitate to return.
