Came here for our anniversary and it was brilliant. We went for the Taste of Thailand menu and tucked in to a variety of dishes that we would never normally order. They were all tasty, fresh and full of flavour. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu which was great to see. Everyone we encountered was smiling and gave great service.

5 stars all round for one reason, seriously, as it had everything I wanted. Speciel occasion experience: Addresed it as I pictured it. Making it special, great table, great welcome and service was fantastic. The table was decorated, and the timings of giving us space before approaching us were spot on.
Ordered a bottle of French white wine, Petfect. Exactly as described on the menu. Easy drinking, light, and refreshing with subtle notes that complemented the dishes that were to follow.
Vegetarian Spring Rolls/ Ducks rolls: Both were petfection in taste and presentation. Yes, it was ONLY spring rolls, but just as you expect them to be. Light crispy, just enough filling and wanting more when finished.
Tofu green curry/ Massoman curry with Jasmin rice. Curries are signature dishes at Thai restaurants, but this was on another level. It is so easy to eat, not overpowering, not too spicy or too rich, just petfect just like the Goldie lox and the 3 bears fairy-tale story.
As a cheeky little side order, we ordered another starter dish with the main - Corn fitters. Now that the flow of good food and service was in full motion, how could it not be good? Well, it was great. Need i say more?
So overall, We came to this lovely and ex-capital of England, City of Winchester, to celebrate a milestone occasion. Planned to enjoy a great day with a great meal. After reading many reviews and researching different cuisines and different restaurants, We came here to Bangkok Bistro, and we are so glad we did. It is even better than those reviews given.
A special mention to the owner/manager and the waiting staff. They were perfect, and the experience they provided was so classy. It's definitely one of the best Thai restaurants we have been to. Also, it can do rings around many London restaurants trying to do the same thing. Thank you once again. What a little gem. Bistro at its best. Big thank you.
Funniest moment when rhe waiting staff asked if we wanted to remove the service charge. If any place deserved the service charge and more was here indeed.
One of the best dinners we've had in a while. This was my first time going into a Thai restaurant and I absolutely loved it. I am very bad with spice and can't really eat spicy food, but when we asked them if it could be as mild as possible they did it, no problems at all. Definitely going back to try some more dishes and explore more different food.
The staff was amazing as well, very professional and friendly, everyone knows what they are doing and how to help you with making choices which is what made it easy for me to really enjoy the dinner.

Excellent food and great staff. Really enjoyed our meal in nice surroundings. Good idea to go early if you want a quiet time. It was getting very busy when we left even on a Wednesday in really bad weather. Obviously this place has a good reputation!
First time visiting this restaurant whilst in Winchester. Food and service were excellent. They certainly knew their menu and when we asked about sharing starters they advised on size of the portions so we didn’t over order.
Was very impressed and definitely will be going again. One of the best restaurants been to in a long time.

Lovely restaurant and atmosphere- although on the pricier side I couldn’t fault the food or the service. So much attention to detail, very attentive staff and everything was served hot from the plates to the starters. Very fresh ingredients and everything on the menu is halal which is amazing as there are not many options in Winchester. I recommend the aubergine and pak Choi- stunning flavours! My colleague also loved the masaman curry and the sea bass
