Love this pub - such a warm and welcoming place. Easy to get to (right next to Micheldever Station if you’re not local), tasty food, and excellent service. I also love the fact that they decorate in accordance with the festivals.
Called in for Sunday lunch after taking the dogs for a walk. Once again we had a lovely warm greeting and everything was so clean and tidy. The meals were delicious and the best Sunday roast we’ve had at a restaurant. The service was excellent and we can’t wait to come back again. Thanks to all the
Fabulous pub that the owners clearly make a real effort with to be welcoming and cheerful. Food is top quality too and very reasonably priced . Sunday lunch is a particular favourite ( although the bar meals aren’t far behind) . Recommend 100%
We had a lovely stopover here. Very friendly helpful staff. Bright airy room that was spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed and large bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Bar area is very welcoming and food is freshly prepared. We felt the burgers were slightly overpriced at £17 for a cheeseburger bu
Didn't stay but the Sunday Lunch was superb, might be the best I've ever had, everything tasted great. Great ale/beer and great service, can't fault the place EXCEPT my dining colleague found the step in the ladies a bit of a trap and fell over. Be careful.
I stopped to have some lunch. Tea and a sandwich with trimmings were enjoyed ; thank you. The staff is friendly, engaged and helpful. Average value for money.
Real gem of a pub/restaurant. Lovely setting, excellent service and great food with a bit of polish influence also. Main I ordered had run out so tried a recommendation of the polish hot dog with fries and slaw, really superb. Reasonably priced and overall quite excellent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Excellent service for our French/Belgian classic car group of 16 people. Good rooms, nice restaurant and bar and friendly staff. Easy to work with for a group and they do what they say ! Unusual these days..
Popped in here to eat whilst holidaying in the area with our 2 dogs. Very friendly (to people and dogs), and the food was good too. Especially the chicken caesar salad and the crispy squid salad.
We had a lovely 2 night stay in this pub, large comfortable room - spotlessly clean - great breakfast. The owners and all the staff were very welcoming & friendly. We had dinner one evening with a large group of friends- good food & service. Thank you.
