Very good cream tea for two. We arrived early in the afternoon.
Not very busy on our arrival, but customers did soon start to arrive.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely return.

Myself and my daughter when along with our dog to try out one of their cream teas and it didnt disapoint. Lovely selection (we actually had to take some of the delicious cakes home! The staff were lovely. I would recommend for a relaxed treat. :)
Hands down this is my favourite dessert chain in the UK. They’ve been around for more than 90+ years, and for a good reason.
I have pretty much tried their entire dessert menu, and I’ve got 0 complaints. My favourite here has to be the strawberry gateaux, Charlotte gateaux and the coconut macaroon.
They even offer a variety of cold and hot drinks, and other lunch and breakfast options.
I can never get enough of this place. Will definitely visit this place again. I do want to try the afternoon tea the next time I visit them.

Dear Patisserie Valerie in Winchester
It was a cloudy afternoon, our son and us decided to walk around Winchester to discover the area. Looking in the window, my son said “ I wish I can have some macarons” So we decided to buy him a pack of 6. Came out of the shop he dropped the whole pack on the floor. Didn’t know what to say but the man come out with the new pack of 12 macarons and said to us “you can have this”
It terribly touched my heart.

Patisserie Valerie (in Winchester, at least) has the vibe of exactly what it is: a patisserie. It is not meant to be posh or flashy, but simple and cosy, living room for the goodies served to colour the decor and put a big smile on your face. It is one of the favourite places for me and my daughter for our "girls out" time. Always good to come back 😊.
this is a great place for tea or breakfast. We had the English breakfast and my fiance had the Stones which were large and tasty. the servers were polite and the place seemed really full of people who were enjoying their phone.
Came here with my family whilst on holiday and I have to say that the food was absolutely delicious! But mostly, the gentleman who served us was so lovely and accommodating to my dad's fussing eating so a massive thanks to him!
Pleasantly suprised by size of portions. Only stopped for a drink but ended up ordering two slices which my wife and I shared and took two different slices home. Drinks, cakes and service good. Will definitely come here again.
I'm afraid to say I was very disappointed, my americano coffee was lukewarm when served and although it was replaced by a hotter version i was not impressed by the flavour and indeed we were never provided with the glass of cold water requested. The avocado wrap was ok

What a lovely team at Patisserie Valerie, all the staff were attentive and supportive! Hats off to the what I can only presume is the manager, boosting his team up on a busy Saturday! You don’t find many like that!
Two lovely young lady’s completed my order and had me seen too straight away! A lovely breakfast is what the doctor ordered! And oh boy the chef delivered!
Once my delicious food was finished I indulged into a lovely mango and passion fruit cake! It was exactly how the manager described it, Light, fluffy and full of fruity heaven!
The young lady on the till was also incredibly lovely, happy to serve me and she was so polite!
I’ve seen a few bad reviews on google and trip advisor but I really don’t know what they are on about!! I just wish I knew the staff members names!
The atmosphere and the staff were lovely. I liked their hot chocolate. However, the cakes look better on the outside than they taste. I thought they would be softer.
