Back Garden Cafe - Winchester - Photo album

One of the nicest theatres I have ever played. Really beautiful inside. Great facilities for performers and the BEST staff
Theatre is small, which is great for new comedy acts. The two bars can deal with the numbers of people attending. However, the toilets definitely need improvement.
Smashing theatre with an impressive auditorium.Went to see my Grandchildren in a school dance off.Lovely atmospheric theatre with very helpful and happy staff.Definitely worth 5 stars or more.
It's a tale of two eras, a lovely and very old theatre full of nostalgia and a very modern front of house.
Fantastic show by Welsh National Ballet. Would like to see more of them. My wheelchair bound husband was looked after very well and the whole evening was brilliant for us because of it. Couldn’t be bettered
I escorted an elder to see 'Oh What A Lovely War'. Not only was the production EXCELLENT but the theatre staff could not have been more accommodating to ensure my companion was given every consideration. A bonus was I could also see the production on a carers ticket, this was sincerely appreciated a
Lovely theatre, compact but stage visible wherever you sit****. Winchester council are absolutely rubbish with their car parking restrictions. They really do not want people to come into the city earlier in the day (to eat and spend money in the local businesses) THEATRE ROYAL *****. WINCHESTER COUN
We went to see The Wizard of Oz in December 2022 and it was lovely. We always go to the Winchester theatre for the panto experience and it never disappoints.
A great local theatre showing a diverse range of stage events. Always feel connected to the performance due it's smaller size. I prefer to sit towards the back of the stalls particularly for dance events, as it addords a better view in my opinion.
Must have seen the music hall days, grand theatre.loved the Godber play. Went by train from Bournemouth just round the corner from the station. Great night thank you.
We watch The Wizard of Oz Pantomime. Staff were very friendly. Kids got a Jude’s ice cream tub each at interval (£3 each). Think mine started getting fidgety towards the end but it was 50 min (15 min interval) 50 mins - so about 2 hours total….. Actors were very good - funny and good at getting the
My first ever theatre vista, and we watched graffiti Classics, they were excellent, the theatre is very nice, and has a historic feel in the auditorium, highly recommended, and we will be back
Intimate little theatre, old building but fully modernised. Really good facilities.
Nice theatre, not massive but comfortable. Some great shows, saw The Reduced Shakespeare Complete Works of Shakespeare (abridged) today which was excellent and very funny.
Lovely small but quaint theatre. Staff extremely helpful. Would highly recommend a visit
The theatre is quite simply, stunning. The building has a lot of history dating back to the 19th century starting life as a hotel and then later beautifully transformed. Today it is very well kept, clean, tidy and accessible for all. They even have a lift to the upper seating areas. The staff are am
A fantastic cine-theatre showing incredible productions from ballet to opera to cinema. The architecture is truly stunning and the acoustics superb. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Well worth a visit if you are in Winchester.
Took my nephew to see the Dinosaur adventure show which he loved. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice theater, comfy seats and plenty of space.
