I was encouraged to visit Winchester on my way home to the Lake District from my holiday in Dorset then Hampshire.
Having parked my car I noticed the pastries in the window and couldn't resist trying something for lunch.

Had lunch here on a busy Sunday, great little cafe in Winchester. Great atmosphere and table service was quick. I had a Panini, brie, bacon and cranberry sauce. Really tasty and left feeling very satisfied. Children had the cheese and ham sandwiches, good portions and thumbs up from them
Simple yet good food, the pastries are nice and the orange juice was very good.
We regularly get pastries for breakfast at the Bridge Patisserie, they are delicious. The best you will find in Winchester.

Great cafe, very popular with locals. They do a great panini or baguette for lunch among other things. Coffee is top notch and very perky and cakes/patisserie are great too. Lovely warm atmosphere and good service.
Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. A little busy on a Saturday lunch time so had a short wait for food but it was great when it came. Fabulous goats cheese salad and ham and cheese panini, the French mustard finishing it off nicely. Also had the most delicious raspberry cheesecake. Will be back!

Cute little cafe. Unpretentious and friendly. We stopped in for a quick lunch. I had a Caesar style salad and my partner had the soup. Both were tasty and a good price.
